LSU (and LSU Athletics) have been entrenched in politics for a long time. Even more so since the LSU upper administration has figured out they could "strong arm" athletics into writing checks to the university. Joe Alleva (and Herb Vincent) were both named "Vice Chancellor" at the same time LSU Athletics' "donations" to LSU transformed into a "contract." Also, both of these guys also received raises too. It's all about the money. LSU receives big $$ from SEC TV contracts. That's all they really care about. They all know that men's BB is small potatoes.

Why would any coach come to LSU after what Alleva did to Wil Wade and what he did to the Duke Lacrosse players. He has to go if LSU wants anybody with any talent to come here. He CAN'T BE TRUSTED PERIOD.

The head in the sand is for the "few fans" that sent e mails to the LSU administration...the poster is right, Alleva is going nowhere. However the 20-30 that have been calling for his head since 2009 should continue. It keeps you busy and and makes you happy

As a follow up to your cogent post consider that the Fed at one point a few years back was giving out 85B/month to its member banks and other 'friends'. Ask yourself whither the provenance of this, ahem, money. The annual federal budget is now more than 1T!. My conclusion is that our money system is 100% fake. It's a Ferengi scheme through and through....
