So long as they continue to play along to get certain folks re-elected they are as safe as the gold in Fort Knox.

LSU and LSU Athletics have down been fully drug into a political game that will not benefit LSU.

Please expound on what they could possibly be doing to positively impact any candidates chances of being elected.

When you see a head coach being allowed to introduce a candidate at a fundraiser there are more folks involved than those two. There are reasons why coaches usually avoid this kind of event and there is no way he did it without a blessing.

If they get rid of Alleva they are just going to put someone just like him in the same spot. AD at LSU has become just a face to take all the criticism. The board is making the decisions and stepping over him any time they want to.

Yes, that is a dated notation in any event.

How are you going to fire Alleva when LSU athletics are going pretty well. The basketball team just finished an historic run, the football season just finished an outstanding season, baseball and softball are doing well and gymnastics is doing great again. I know about his past at Duke, but that's in the past. Are you going to get rid of him because of placing WW on leave when it's pretty clear to everyone that WW broke NCAA rules? It's a performance based job and he appears to be doing an okay job to me!

You're going to get rid of Alleva because TAF donations are tanking!! He's had more controversy than not, and his hiring record is below par, IMO.

This is spot on. LSU hired political animals who would do Jindal's bidding. This is how they know to survive. The school will suffer as a result.
