Don't forget to send your daily emails to Alleva, F King and Board of Supervisors! They told us Miles was going to change things. He didn't. Now, they must hold him accountable. #FireLesNow

Somebody has to sack up and do something!

Miles is a jilted lover who will do everything in his power to burn this program to the ground the longer he stays, then laugh when he collects that obscene buyout.

The middle finger at A&M presser & subsequent Wisconsin game suggests he has a personal vendetta to score.

At a larger scale though, wanting to fire the university President is pretty insane. Fire Miles? Sure. Fire Alleva? Definitely. Fire a guy who is succeeding at his job, with the exception of one of the 21 sports his school participates in? That's a stretch for me.

Just to be fair, there is more than "one" sport at LSU not having success. At the very bottom is the Swimming program (not diving), and the other one is the Basketball program. Tennis is not doing so well either. Just to be fair.

School records don't score points at SEC. School records don't score points at NCAA's (FYI). Results matter.

That one sport basically funds all others (excluding baseball and mens basketball)

I signed, mainly because of his efforts to kill the med school in Shreveport. F. King

In Alleva's defense, he tried to fire Miles, and F. King put an end to it at the final hour.

No, nothing yet from any of the BOS

I feel confident they've all seen it or at the very least heard about it by now

These are all enhancements but they are not King alexanders ideas . With maybe the exception of the foundation deal . These moves were started and envisioned under Lombardi and his staff.

Kings has certainly supported the implementation but I can't give him credit for that.

As the face of the University he has been really bad. The scare tactics have been detrimental. ( enrollment down )

His pulling the rug because he is scared that funding for LSU would be pulled. .,, that means he has " no chest " when it comes to negotiations. Imagine the legislature really using LSU football to cut funding to LSU. Really.

Also public funding of major universities is down everywhere and a smaller percentage of funding across the country. And the long term strategy adopted by the Flagship agenda understands this and is moving toward more reliance on tuition and fees and endowment. Hence the fundraising effort. Again all initiatives started prior to King.

Note that the legislature gave LSU some tuition freedom I believe.

So if that is the vision .., worries about removal of funding to not get rid of your coach ...,,

Would be interesting to see if you get a response. Terminating a president can take over a year to find a new replacement. Would be difficult to find a good quality choice to come into this situation where LSU is struggling and dropping in many categories and Jindal leaving the state in shambles and heavy cuts on the way again.

The med school situation might be his Waterloo. Politicians, including the governor are getting involved. Of course, they might side with F. King, but some powerful people have called him out this week over the issue.

And on another note, a petition is kind of like throwing a rock at a battleship... They know you're here but really DGAF what you have to say cause well, they're a battleship

If you wanna torpedo the motherfricker, then you need to figure out a way to hit them financially, that's how you get shite accomplished

You're a fricking idiot. King has done amazing things for the university. I'm so sorry the football team lost yesterday, but to fire the head of a UNIVERSITY that has done great things because a sport lost a game, is just fricking dumb. Grow up.

Alexander is a fricking clown and has publicly gaffed time and again. The Nutrition Center construction. The Les Miles debacle. The budget debacle. The handling of Roy King's dismissal. Every one of these has had a negative impact on the school in the public eye. He is the public face of the university, and needs to be held accountable for these mistakes.

I will never understand how anyone can support this fool. I mean damn, for all his lack of balls and leadership, at least Alleva is bringing in money for the athletic department. All Alexander is doing is NEGATIVE.
