I mean at the end of the season as long as it is a W we should be ok....but if it is a sloppy game and we skate by i will feel kinda down on the rest of the season for a few weeks then back into it before SEC play.....that MS State game last year made for a tough start to the season that really put a funk on the year.

After last year, we should just be happy with a win. We should never have lost to MSU or Missouri. This is a game on the road against a decent PAC 10 team. It's our first game of the season and they've already had a tune up. We should win but we could easily lose this game. I'm happy with a win.

I'm sure I'll pick a part our play but honestly all I want is a W. Hard enough for this team to deal with the hurricane distraction (their own homes), practicing in Houston and then going all out west.

I second that emotion, a win AT UCLA is a good win, if the Bruins have a solid season and beat USC or Oregon it will pay dividends to the Tigahs in the end. If we lose by 1 point it will devastate our season unless UCLA goes undefeated period.

We beat a 5 loss Texas team in 2019 by 7. A win is a win.
