EVERYTHING considered, are you satisfied with less than a 10 point win?

UCLA has one game under their belt
LSU traveling cross country
first time in the Rose Bowl
displaced for practice this week
worried about their families and friends in SouthEast La
first game gitters
How much if any of these factors make for a closer-than-we-wanna-see game?
I still stand by LSU 40-20

No. LSU has way more talent. All that other stuff listed is nonsense. If these were the right coaching hires LSU should steamroll UCLA.

If the line is still -3 when I get to Vegas tomorrow, I’ll be satisfied with a 4 point win.

We barely beat a mediocre Texas team two years ago and went on to win the championship. As long as they keep improving on a victory I’m good with it.
We would have beat Texas by 50 at the end of that year.

Just a win.
But I want to blow them out of the water

Just win and don’t suffer any injuries.

Good teams win. Great teams cover. 2019 was proof of that. I rest my case.

That's bs. I think LSU wins comfortably but those factors are very real. If LSU had a game under its belt then I agree. Just win and move on.

LSU has top 5 talent with a coach in his 5th year. I expect a top 5 performance as should everyone else.

-Young at QB, but shows promise
-Thin at OL, losing Dare didn't help
-Lots of talent at RB, but 3 are nicked
-Lots of talent at WR, still young
-Brand new defense coming off of a horrible showing by Pelini
-Front 7 looks to be stout
-top 2 CB's in country
All of this doesn't add up to necessarily dominating Ucla on road, let alone the hurricane evacuation.

So Vegas has us at -3 but you think -10 is not acceptable. Shite, you should go bet an alternate line could probably get 4-1 or better -10.

Agreed...not first game out of gate. Lot of unproven talent. Experience takes time. LSU barely beat Texas in 19...programs were nowhere close.

Vegas is trying to make money. I'm talking about expectations of the football program. Don't be dumb.

Some of that is negated by experience.
Take Masson Smith for example. He is a 5* DT. You’re kidding yourself if you think he’s going to manhandle someone who has started 30+ games at the P5 level in his first ever game.
Also look at it from a coordinator perspective. It’s year 4 working with a lot of the same guys for UCLA. LSU’s coordinators haven’t called a play at this level. These games aren’t played on paper. It’s going to take time for this LSU team to gel.
I’ll be happy with a one point win.
