Everyone Wants Kiffin and LSU to Fail

We’ve already won. Haven’t even played a down.

Overly emotional people aren’t focused. That is especially true in team sports.

These kids are going to be so hyper focused on wanting to beat LSU that they will make mistakes they wouldn’t normally make, because they’re being told this is good vs. evil. Playing on emotion will carry you some of the way, it will rarely carry you the whole way. It’s the same issue LSU ran into against Bama from 2012-2018.

If Kiffin has LSU focused on the task, and not their emotions, they have an edge every week.

Although I would love for this to play out this way. I still can’t keep the thought in the back of mind telling me this also has the potential to blow up in our face in a spectacular fashion. Here’s to hoping we kick arse this year

The coaches are meeting, game planning, and prepping just as they would for any other game. They aren't prepping with lawyers and sitting in courtrooms. The players are doing the same. When they aren't, they are trying to live the life of any other college football player. They aren't sitting on message boards, listening to sports radio, and obsessessing over every statement made about LSU.

The only people who are "distracted" are fans...because they have NOTHING to do when it comes to the actual game other than to sit around and talk about things. The players' perspective and the fans' perspective is VASTLY different. Yet, fans always think the players share their same mindset. I hate to break it to you. They don't.
