Are we going to ignore the TD that LACY dropped from JD also?

I'm not knighting Nuss, but this is a ridiculous post. JD threw 24 passes, Nuss 6 and Collins 2. Both of Nuss' incompletions should have been TDs. Even without them Nuss had a better QBR (95.6) than JD (89.6).

I could argue Nuss' QBR meant he was better. It would be a stupid argument though. Just like yours.

If Nuss would have started, he would have thrown for over 400 yards in first half

JD always looks good against cupcakes. Nuss passed the eye test as the pocket QB we need who can distribute to the playmakers and not pull it down and run with it.

Show me where I’m wrong? Compare the stats, pts scored, TDS, yards, and tell me again how Nuss played a better game?

Nuss threw 6 passes. 5 were perfect throws and the only poorly placed ball was the screen pass completion. His two incompletions were both perfectly thrown TD passes (but you already know this because you’re trolling).

Nuss has better arm talent, throws a prettier ball, throws it harder, and throws it with better loft.

I don’t know why any LSU fan can’t accept that. If you favor Daniels then okay. But it’s your own bias or you prefer someone that can run too. Or you value the 54 career starts and experience. And that’s fine and apparently the coaches agree with that.

But Nuss has more arm talent now than Daniels will ever have and that’s a fact. At some point, BK needs to give both of them reps against a good opponent. Mississippi State is that opponent.

Personally, I think BK is obviously smart enough to make the switch if Nuss gets series and absolutely performs better, but I also feel like he is scared to death to have to pull Jayden. It certainly doesn’t help QB recruiting if you are scared to put someone else in.

JD had more touchdowns and yards. Nevermind the fact that he had 4 times more passing attempts

frick the stats,

Count the double pumps,
failures to pass on time,
two sacks on bad pocket decisions
and missed targets that actually caught the ball

do you think we will get away with that level of performance in SEC play? maybe.

I am not poo pooing everything he threw a good ball to Hilton and he had some really good designed runs but his passing game is a C-plus. You really cant compare anybody... RB's, OL, DL, etc in this game because the competition level was so bad. I expected us to score 60+.

There was one thing I saw Nuss do that I dont think I have ever seen JD do and that was move personnel pre snap after scanning the defense. He did that down in the red zone around the 5 yd line on his first series. The TE lined up wrong but he moved the RB to help with the blocking.

Maybe I am just wanting to not see it with JD but I dont recall seeing him ever do that.

Yes , he looked great against FSU also . He’s always one step ahead of the competition mentally with pre snap reads and accurate throws .

Well, JD had a good game against UGA too, ya know. Better completion % and fewer turnovers... and all against UGA starters.

It’s really amazing how the Daniels’ haters ignore how well he played in that game on one leg. It’s sad that alleged fans of a team are so invested in the starting QB failing.

If only there was some mathematical way to judge accuracy.
