Everyone seemed to panic when baseball got swept by Ole Miss earlier this year

Looks like they weren’t so bad after all. What a run they’ve had in this NCAA tournament after being sent to Miami’s regional as a 3 seed.

They might have embarrassed us the same way they lit up usm. They are dang good. I remember thinking after they swept us, "some unlucky host is gonna have these guys as a 2 or 3 seed".

They were not playing well coming into that series. There's a reason they got a 3 seed. Are we supposed to apologize now, all this time later, for being upset that we got swept at home?
Ole Miss is on a fluky run, not unlike Fresno State winning a title as a 4 seed. I don't see how that changes how I should feel about being swept by them. But I also don't care anymore, because our season is over.

Baseball and basketball are different than football, you can have a slump and it doesn't kill you.
This Ole Miss team, I honestly don't know what happened to them, but they're a fricking beast now.
