It matters a great deal actually.

You are melting like a little girl all over this site

What
Are you thinking of someone else?
Very much not the case.
Landry is doing a terrible job in this. He needs to shut up and do this behind the scenes.

None of this matters to the people involved

Naive. The soon to be former governor spouting off about premier coaches’ agents needing to be shut down and then stating that the going price 4 years ago was too much, has surely set the stage for a bargain hire that is more likely to result in disaster.

I would at least wait to see who the hire is before I make a statement like that. My approach is wait and see. The result will be the deciding factor not anyone’s feelings including yours or mine.
We won’t ever know based on who they hire.
But anyone who says no, isn’t doing it because of what Landry said.

Landry sank his own ship in the last 48 hours.
Woodward would win an election over Landry next week, and Woodward isn’t popular at the moment.

Is absolutely doesn’t except for men with the emotional intelligence of 12yr old girls lol

Telling the agents that they need to be investigated and that there should be a cap on what they should earn (there should be)…
Do you think agents will love that?

Our governor and a former HC are trying to get clicks?
Posted on 10/30/25 at 4:54 pm to TackySweater
You making this thread was the most predictable thing in the world. Just surprising you didn't make it sooner.

Choice A
A ton of money and a governor that isn’t meddling
Choice B
A ton of money (maybe) and a governor that will meddle in your business
Of course it matters for someone who has an option

This is just him running his mouth lol
Agents will do what’s best for their clients, and that’s getting them high profile jobs that pay
This isn’t hard. Again, for anyone that’s not acting like a 12yr old emotional girl lol

I think you’re the one just running your mouth. You think LSU is going to pay the type of huge contract with buyout that it would take to get certain coaches, after blasting the contract that was given to Kelly? Lol

I’m still amazed at how much men keep acting like emotional 12yr olds lol

If LSU is their top choice, then they aren’t saying no because if some dumb stuff landry said that he has no control over lol

You’re off topic. Try to keep up lol

Nothing going on now is going to change this coaching search. If we have a guy that wants to be here, he’s not going to say, “yes but the only thing making me turn it down is what your governor said a couple months ago”
We really do have some dumbass people here lol
LSU is NOT the only school looking for a head coach. Head coaches can consider other schools that are not affiliated/influenced/controlled by moronic governors
A head coach candidate can choose Florida or Penn State instead of LSU. Those states don't seem to have politicians meddling in college athletics.
Or maybe the candidate will demand more money to ameliorate the potential aggravation.
There certainly have been coaches who have avoided schools with overly involved boosters.
Lots of cognoscenti have advised that Landry is poisoning the LSU well.
