LOL . Walker reminds of Kirk Cameron on family ties.

What’s not to respect? Dude walked into college looking like he was carved from stone and has some of the best ball skills in the nation. Everyone in this board who swore he was underrated... you guys were right.

You don't just dominate high level Louisiana high school football for 2-3 years to be mediocre. Dude's been a baller.

It was incredible how underrated he was. I felt the same way about Justin Jefferson years ago. You can just tell some guys are unique talents by watching them play. It’s odd how some of these guys are so underrated by the recruiting services.

In honesty, I think it’s in part because the recruiting services want great measurables. They want a lightning fast 40, a high vertical, or jukes. You can’t objectively measure or validate ball skills, so they don’t base their rankings on ball skills.

I respectfully disagree. The "eyes don't lie". Anyone with half a brain saw that Bech is a 'ball player". To many people prefer "athletes" over trusting their own eyes.

Quinn had a fine college career. Just not at LSU.

Trey Quinn caught a lot of footballs at SMU and started in the slot at the NFL, if only for a few seasons. Sucks that he had a Jackie Smith drop moment (Google it youngins) that would have beaten Bama. But, just don’t think mediocre is fair.

His 40 was faster than Jamar Chase’s coming out of high school. Chase ran a 4.66, Bech ran a 4.55.

1 or 2 plays after he dropped that pass, we punt and then recover the bama fumble inside the 20. The whole narative is so so overblown and wrong.

Idk why do you think? Justin Jefferson was another guy that always seemed way too underrated to me based on his HS film. Too a lesser extent Jay Ward was another. Based off his film and the level of competition he was playing at and his athletic tools I figured he should’ve been pretty comfortably a 4 star guy and was a middling 3 star on nearly all recruiting services.

The fact that he had to go to SMU makes it mediocre.
Guys like DJ Chark & Russell Gage who were behind him on the depth chart at LSU are still playing in the NFL.

Comparing an LSU offense back then (two TE, I-formation, 2 WR, and 18-20 pass attempts per game) to today's spread/RPO/4-5WR sets with 50+ pass attempts alone is not apples to apples.
