Everybody STOP saying the game is "for a good cause"- IT'S NOT CHARITY

These people in the threads blathering on&on about ticket sales are really getting on my nerves...
THIS IS NOT A CHARITY GAME! Not ONE PENNY of your ticket price, $5 Tiger Water, $9 nachos, etc., will go to aid for flood victims. All revenue over staffing expenses will be given to the USC Athletic Dept.,who will use the money as part of the athletic department budget, just the same as if it were an actual home game, and just the same as if there hadn't been a drop of rain in SC for a month...

And if this were LSU flooded out again and we had to move the game to USCe, you would of course start this same thread on their message boards, correct?

OP is 100% correct regardless if lsu was in the exact same position. You need to shut your mouth before it gets shut for you.

What is SG and where is that?
And for a Saturday, football weekend, you sure are mad this morning.
Get a morning poke with the mrs. or girlfriend or have a beer. Relax.

USCe AD said they were expecting an almost 3.9 million dollar payday had the game been played in SC as expected. Not gonna even come close playing in BR so it's a huge hit to USCe no matter how you look at it.

I think they are taking donations for the Red Cross at the stadium gates. So, while ticket prices will not go to charity, fans still have the opportunity to donate.

If they donate to Red Cross then they are not donating to SC.

Priceless. Clown is right
I've seen clown's hands before. Definitely not someone you want to mess with.

I don't waste time on other teams' msg boards, but I wouldn't be offended if someone noted the game was not for charity, but normal athletic dept revenue...
