Yep all of his problems come from him being jumpy and not trusting protection or unable to step into throws because he's being plastered. He misses a couple throws a game but NFL QBs do that. 90% of the time he has pressure before he hits his back foot on his drops he has 1 reliable WR and he still currently has the third best passer rating in LSU history. Without Etling we are a 2 win team right now.

Why not just tell the truth and say you don't like him just because? You and your fellow retards haven't provided a single shred of evidence to support your claims other than ignorant opinion. Just say you're a stupid moronic idiot that doesn't know anything and have never taken a snap or been involved in football and you just don't like the QB, at least you'd be honest.

This is a very empty statistic. I appreciate his toughness but his lack of throwing abilities (reading progressions, arm strength, accuracy, timing) prevent Canada from calling many pass plays that he would otherwise call if we had a QB with better ability.
Therefore we are relegated to the easier to complete passes or the all or nothing "throw it as far as you can and hope our guy catches it or knocks it down". We don't throw the deep out (not enough arm), deep post (arm and lack of good decision making) or crossing routes (can't read the linebackers) as he has been lucky that several easy INTs were dropped.

Etling has heart and is a competitor. He makes some pretty incredible plays on occasion, like a completed pass for a 1st down on LSU's TD drive right before halftime vs Auburn, where everyone thought he was about to take a sack!
It will be interesting to see if last year's game he had vs Alabama can serve as as a learning tool for his upcoming game vs the Tide.

You should probably dumb that down for the madclown. He only half understands what he reads and doesn't have a damned clue of what he sees.

There were only 3 of you here last month. Is he the worst I've seen? But there's been thread after thread talking about how great he is now. He's still the same inconsistent QB. Very fortunate to not have at least 6 picks. Last week was probably his best performance ever at any level of football he's played.
I give him credit for the handful of plays he made last week. I blame the WR's for 2 dropped passes that hit them in their hands, but some of our fans ignore the severely underthrown and overthrown passes every game.
Sacks? Half the sacks he takes is because he freaks out when many times there was an escape route that he missed. Not here to bash him, but not here to join this new re-emerging group of naming him the second coming.

He can’t hit a deep wrnin stride.
Charlie has had his man beat deep multiple times and had to slow down or even stop for the ball.
