I mean obviously it’s not stopping good players from coming to play for her. In fact, many have publicly spoke out that she’s not at all how the media tries to portray her. You think someone like Morris would come back to play for her a second time if she was so horrible.

Some people get famous for being great human beings.
Folks like Sarah yearn for publicity by attacking greatness.
I wish Morris would sucker punch her, then kick her while she is down.

She wound up walking that back as she should have.
I guess CKM was channeling her inner Maxine Waters. Repercussions were not comparable.

she could have taken a stand to support her gay players.
She could've. Instead, she took them to 3 national championships.
She's a basketball coach, not a social worker.

Well, those 2 things aren’t mutually exclusive. She could have taken a stand AND taken them to 3 championships

Clothes??? That's what we tune in for! HA

First of all, this is a huge fricking reach. Second, Herring Stones is selecting her outfits. Most importantly, it is OKAY to disagree on issues that face all of us. This constant fricking politicization of everything is exhausting! We all have different life experiences, we’re not going to agree on everything! I fricking hate intolerant people, on both sides.

I found it odd that an ESPN personality would make such outrageous comments
Why? ESPN is the epicenter of wokeness
P.S. being against mandatory vaccines, lockdowns and masks , doesn’t make a person a covid denier!!!

Maybe she just feels it isn't her place. Maybe she feels like her players' sexual preferences don't have anything to do with basketball, and is absolutely none of her business.
I wish more people would take their sexuality more personally and leave the rest of us out of it. The only time someone else's sexual preference is my business, is when I'm it.

Come on, sexual orientation is “in your face” every day when you see married couples who are heterosexual. It only bothers you when people who are gay aren’t back in the closet

Sports journalists hacks like Sarah Pain are people that don’t know shite about anything writing complete bullshite for people who can’t read. By far the lowest form of journalism on the planet.
After we beat Iowa Coach Mulkey should tell ESPN to take their liberal bullshite and Geaux frick themselves with a live monkey or something.

Right! Us conservatives are such forgiving, non judgement people.

"Fappable" in the comments

Another fine example of one woman tearing another successful woman down…by attaching hateful rhetoric to her wardrobe. They wonder why their success is limited relative to men, but are distracted by shite like this. Men decided a long time ago to all dress alike to eliminate the judgment that plagues women.
I mean it is really sad. She is being paid very well to play a role that essentially keeps women down.
White women who don’t realize they are just another petty white woman are truly the worst people in the US.

I mean, Mulkey has been involved with women’s college basketball for over 40 years. She obviously hates blacks, women, and lesbians.

Sarah Spain is a poor man’s Amy Lawrence.

No shite. That is the amazing part of the people who call Mulkey a homophobe and a racist. I don't think they know how being a homophobe and racist works.
I'm pretty sure that people with those beliefs don't pick careers that involve interacting with members of those groups.

When Brittney Griner was going to Baylor, homosexual acts were considered sexual misconduct in their student handbook punishable by dismissal from the school. Mulkey was literally trying to protect Griner yet continuously gets blasted for being anti-gay. It’s a completely backwards and simple-minded narrative placed on Mulkey. She keeps doing her thing though and doesn’t seem to let it bother her so we shouldn’t let it bother us (if that’s possible lol).
Solid post.
Maybe one day you’ll come to the realization that YOUR political side is the reason shite is like it is these days. Identity politics and wokeism are always fine until it shows up on your own doorstep

No, it isn't. I don't consider being seen together, walking together, holding hands, or affectionate kisses, "in your face". But I've never heard a heterosexual claiming to be proud of it. After all, isn't pride a venal sin?

But you seemed to have lost the thread of the conversation in your attempt to bait me into queer bashing. The issue is about Mulkey talking about other peoples' sexuality. Maybe she just thinks that it's none of her business. After all, I don't think it's any of my business who her players want to frick. It's not even any of my business who you want to frick.

Coach Mulkey helps a lot of girls become mature women and to be winners. What has this self-rightous witch done.
