Does anyone have any experience with ESPN Unlimited’s game replay feature?

I will miss the live broadcast & want to purchase a service that allows me to watch it when I get home tonight, but this shite has gotten ridiculously complicated.

ESPN Unlimited carries all SEC games (even if they broadcast on ABC) and allegedly allows you to replay them. I’m not sure how long it takes before replays become available or how that even works (do you just search for the game in the app?)

Hulu gives you DVR if you sign up for live via Hulu, but if you bundle Hulu through Disney+ you don’t get DVR lol.

Sling has DVR and ESPN/SEC Network — but it doesn’t have ABC (which could be relevant to MSU next weekend).

This is a fricking racket. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you not have some sort of regular tv service? How do you usually watch games?

Depending on how patient you are, about a day or so after the game some YouTube channels will post the full game. Not sure if this is the response you’re looking for but figured I’d share.

With all the streaming apps, most people do not do “Live” TV service year round.

This question specifically is not about watching the game. It’s about watching the game, after the game.

I’m asking you if you weren’t busy tonight, and wanted to watch the game at home, how would you do it?

Btw, “most people” definitely still have the ability to watch live tv year round.

I signed up for YouTube TV a couple weeks ago and at that time they had a 21-day free trial which includes DVR and ESPN unlimited since I signed up for the full package. There are smaller packages with sports I believe.

Not sure if that’s true. In any case, sports is the only use live tv has for me.

We’ve been at watch parties and tailgates for all the football games this year to date, so first time the issue has come up this year.

In the past it was Hulu, but I’m confused about them replacing DVR with ESPN Unlimited’s “game replays” hence the post asking if anyone has experience with it.

I have the full Woke bundle and although it pains me to open up the disney channel to watch replays that’s actually where I have had the most success.

We run everything thru a roku but the ESPN app on Roku is a dozen types of arse.

But for whatever reason i almost always find the games on Disney…and I don’t have Hulu live or DVR. but that probably doesn’t work if you just want to pick up the game 1Q in and skip all the commercials and end live.

For my main source I use YTTV and just add LSU football to Library. that seems to work fine EXCEPT when it’s LA Tech or something on one of the ESPN sub sub networks.

But you are right. It’s absolutely a racket and a PITA to figure it all out.

I have Hulu+live tv bundle with Disney+ and ESPN+. It’s like $84.99 a month but if I want to watch something I just record it. It doesn’t have a DVR per se but when you record something it stays on for like a month. So you can record it and watch it later tonight or tomorrow when you have time.

Hope this helps.

I have the espn unlimited bundle. Replays are available almost instantly. Or if you start it and the game is atill going you can start from beginning.

I pay 50ish a month I think for disney, Hulu, and espn ultimate and for football its amazing

I have you tube tv and Disney/espn bundle. I can get just about every game I want to watch. I can also DVR on YouTube everything and watch it later. You don’t really need the ESPN bundle for football but for baseball it is definitely worth it.
