There must be a "big" B1G game next week at night. Doesn't make sense to put our shittiest teams in the prime time spot otherwise.

You make yourself look kind of dumb by throwing fire Sankey into a thread about something he doesn't control.

Is LSU vs Miss St a marquee match up to you?

It is to me, but I’m biased.

ABC wants to make sure both ND and MIAMI have large viewership for pollsters — so they remain relevant in the CFP discussion

Who negotiated the TV deal with ESPN? The point isn’t about LSU/Miss St.. It’s about Fla/Tex at 11:00?, Bama/Tenn at 2:30, Georgia/Auburn at 2:30 and old Miss/Missouri at 2:30. So they can have Notre Dame/BYU on ABC and Miami/Fla St on ESPN for the night game. Miami will boat race Fla St is that a marquee game??? Duh!

The LSU v. MSU game was selected for the 11:00 am - 12:00 pm kickoff window BEFORE the season started. This isn't something the SEC decided today. The only "TBA" aspect was if the game would start at 11, 11:45, or 12. Now, if you want to argue it is foolish for the SEC select start windows months before the season starts, that's understandable. But that this would be a morning game has been known for months by anyone would was willing to pay a modicum of attention. That the game would be in the "early window" kickoff time has been on the LSU football website for months.

No one seems to remember that Disney-ABC-ESPN stated plainly when they got the SEC contract that the 12 noon ET slot was one of their top 2 timeslots so as to compete with Fox.

We fans think that 6pm-7pm kickoffs are ALWAYS the best slot but our overlords do not.

It’s not about LSU/Miss St. It’s almost always an 11:00 am kickoff and yes we knew this before the season started. The issue I have is no SEC game in Prime Time. ESPN has exclusive rights to SEC games and the conference gets bumped for ND game and a Miami game.

ND - BYU

BYU has looked absolutely MID vs a bunch of other mid or bad teams and they keep pushing them upwards and justifying it because of who they were last year. This is all so ND can have a "top 10 win", because they play 2 teams worth a damn all year.
