ESPN re-authentication

Is anyone else having to deal with this nonsense? ESPN is asking me to re-authenticate both on my phone and Roku. I’m getting an error message media not allowed user must re-authenticate. I tried to log out and log back in and that doesn’t work I’ve also tried changing my password. There is absolutely no decent support available online.

I have to completely log out and reauthenticate with my provider every time I use the app... didn't have to do that until recently

Yes, Chromecast user here and have to log out of the app every time. Then go to the game to view it and re-authenticate with YTTV account.

You have to log out of your tv provider first then after you log back in espn and sec+ will work

Yes! I’ve logged out. Uninstalled app. Reinstalled, updated tv and it still will not work. I can’t watch.

I have to logout TV provider and log back in everytime without fail.

It's the most annoying app in the world, have to sign in like half the time to it. How the hell can it not remember the sign in so much?

I had similar issues when I was on AT&T internet. Almost every time I opened the ESPN it wanted me to re-authenticate. I switched to Ezee fiber two years ago and have only been asked once.

I was having a similar problem with ESPN and Fubo. ESPN kept telling me I needed a subscription to watch free programming. Like you said no support at all. I finally fixed the problem by closing and re-signing in to FUBO even though I already was signed in to it and it worked fine. The conspiracy theory in me thinks that Disney is just making it hard as hell to watch ESPN stuff without their package.
