Leave them alone. Butterflies will be awesome and the leaves will come back and not affect the lemon production.

Off season, Jimmy Taylor lived on Baird Dr. in middle-class Magnolia Woods in BR (how times have changed!). He would answer the door to us kids, handing out autographed photos. He was why I was a Packers fan before the Saints were born; of course he was on the first 1967 Saints team. Moved about a mile away to Walden neighborhood and was frequent walker around the neighborhood, super friendly great ambassador of our city.
I sold whatever I could to get in the games from 65-72 (still think '69 was one of LSU's greatest). Walking up the stairs with metal rack of Pepsi and Teem, paper cups with wax paper lid seal. Post game, after making $3 or $4, walked to the union, used the free phones to call Dad to come get me. I told him how dumb the students were - they spent 15¢ for a drink only to pour it out, leaving only ice!
The announcer was Bob Peters. He was not a homer, more of a neutral type - and pretty good at describing the amazing skills of Maravich, especially the famous run-out-the-clock dribbling clinic at Georgia.

Peters would let kids (I was in 7th grade) gather around his announcer table after the game and listen to his post-game interview with Coach Press Maravich.

Of course the highlight was getting Pistol Pete's autograph. You went in one at a time into the dressing room where it was just you and Pete. He signed "Pistol" Pete Maravich #23. Thinking back, it seemed lonely for him, but that must have been how he wanted it.
