That just means we'll be the first to punch our ticket to Omaha!

ESPN is ruining college baseball.

ESPN is ruining LSU's super regional.

ESPN hates LSU.

ESPN is evil.

So glad all of you came in this thread to comment. I really am. But how many of you are happy that we play at 11am?

So please, everyone bitch away cause none of you are happy with the game time!

Is it ideal? No, but we're still playing which is exciting, regardless of what time the game is played. You could be an ole miss fan. Think about that for a second.

I don't recall LSU ever playing a football game at 11AM on a Friday. Playing at 11am on a Saturday is much different since most people are off work.

And I don't recall the prospect of the football team having to play thre games on consecutive games.

Can't you people just take solice in the fact that they were slotted there due to a much lesser opponent, thus potentially giving them an easier run to Omaha?

I'm sure Miami and UCF thought the same thing...

The difference is neither of those teams are very good. Of course a lot of our fans dont think we're good either.

Well, I think the college baseball world - and ESPN - should make all decisions based on whats best and most convenient for LSU fans. Duh. How is that unreasonable?

This ESPN hates LSU argument is so old and ridiculous...give it a rest people...there is no way to make this argument without looking like a complete imbecile...

ESPN and the SEC signed a huge contract to televise a lot of sec games...ESPN signed a contract with the NCAA to televise the super regionals...TV pays the bills so they get to choose the time of most games so they can get the best ratings to make some money on the contracts...that's it...that is their only motivation ratings and money...not some super secret hatred of LSU...

You can be upset because the time is inconvenient for you, but to blame ESPN is asinine

I am fine with the game time other than dealing with heat. Now my nights are free all weekend.

C'mon dude; you know this is all about ratings. An LSU-Miami matchup is a night game, but nobody knows about Stony Brook. Espn expects a boring beatdown; hence the early start (before the Belmont)
