He very clearly meant it in jest due to entertainment value of putting a mic in front of Les. And I agree with him. It would be spun gold.

The announcing was indeed weak. "The bachelor" was the better of the two but whoever the second guy was that shared the mic was awful.

The announcers were both fine. But I realize all announcers hate LSU and we must therefore hate all announcers.

I had a few buddies get into an argument with me saying that it's the same Les Miles offense and Missouri is just "bad."

Your friends sound like miserable lil bitches that don't know football. Mizzou ain't great, but they shut down Nick Chubb and put up 470+ yards on UGA. UGA needed a 4th and 10 conversion for a TD to beat them with just over a minute left. We had so many fakes in the running game that a number of times, I didn't know who had the ball. BIG difference there.

These were two unranked 2-2 teams playing at the same time of Clemson/Louisville.

How many "experts" do you think really watched last night's game?

Last week was bad. McShay release a list with Dupree as #3 ranked WR (different discussion), so all thru game we heard how we really need to get MD the ball, and not getting him the ball shows our offense is off. Weak.

Most of the experts don't really know shite and really can't.

It was blowing my mind how hard the announcers were touting Dupre during the Auburn game. As if LSU just completely ignores and misuses him. When every fan here knows he's been a complete disappointment to start the season and has had big time stone hands. But you would have thought we had robbed Dupre with the way they were talking

That was like a Les wet dream. The scheme has never been a problem. It was the play selection. Seems also maybe Les worked them too hard during the week, but that was true under saban here as well.

When/if Les decides to do TV, he will be a star. I could see him being the next Lee Corso or Terry Bradshaw. Doesn't matter if everyone teases him or if he does nothing but say silly stuff, it's entertainment and Les is all about that

His stats last night were basically identical to the Miss State game

Yep. The difference last night I think was we passed to set up the run, rather than the other way around. And we also had much better tempo and rhythm. With Miles, even when we were passing, it seemed like it was a sidebar, rather than a legit part of the plan.

Last night didn't look much different, but it definitely felt different, and the production was certainly different.

Gimme a break ESPN. You are only geared for a handful of games. Get some extra insight analysts.

Yeah. It's just not realistic to expect those guys to know the details of every game every Saturday. Its why I watch SECN for closet analysis or I visit the authority, tiderdroppings.

He should be embarrassed that he knows Jesse as the Bachelor and doesn't know who Brent Musberger is

Surely you are joking.
Terry Bradshaw and Lee Corso speak in complete sentences.

We absolutely spread their defense out.
Also, running back by committee kept the their legs fresh and let some of the hungry youngsters feed on Mizzou

No, but last night did show that there really isn't anything wrong with the scheme or philosophy

your not going to change the scheme during the season nor does it necessarily need to be changed. But there was a big change in philosophy. We passed to set up the run. We also passed enough and at the right times that the defense couldn't 100% sell out on the run. We also ran out of formations that spread the defense out enough to make more room to run the ball. Definitely a big change in philosophy. Also we didn't try to slow down the game. We played with tempo. Not fast paced no huddle but definitely more up tempo. The philosophy used to be to slow down the game in order to shorten the game. That wasn't an objective last night. Playing with more tempo seemed to get us into more of a rythymn on offense that seemed to lead to better execution.

but they still were a run oriented offense.

you do realize we were up by five touchdowns. Of course we ran. But we didn't run from same formation every time.

Last night I saw us run the ball with trips right. When have you ever seen us do that under miles? Instead of substituting, therefore allowing Missouri to substitute on defense, we split JD Moore out loud probably 5 times last night. They have to put a linebacker on him, and they can't substitute. Sure, he's a decoy, but look at the running lanes that opened wide up when we did that.
I swear I think some of you guys don't watch the game. Or maybe you just don't know what you're looking at. Every running play is the same, every passing play is the same.
It was very different last night. And the results showed it
