This is so ridiculous on so many levels.

Different strokes for different folks.

I guess we all have certain criteria and standards that we go by in regards to where we live. There is absolutely nothing in BR that makes it even remotely "Liveable" except for the "Close to LSU" thing.

If you actually like dwelling in the shitehole that BR has devolved into, your standards for "Quality of Life" are wretched excess rock bottom.

I'm not going to lie, I'd rather live in Covington at this point in life than Atlanta, but to each their own

Don't forget flooding, uncut grass and litter along roads, a poor educational system, underfunded universities, overloaded infrastructure, and low wages.

I know of at least 15. We all live here in Baton Rouge after formerly living all over. Next time you’re in Baton Rouge we should all get together so you can hear the other side.

If we are just talking places to live and not comparable cities then I mean I would rather live in Baton Rouge than Lake Charles or Killeen, TX. But I would rather live in Nashville or the burbs of Houston over living in BR.

It’s not the worst place to live but it’s far from the best. IF we had to move back to Louisiana, BR would be in the top 3 of where I would want to move. Probably closer to 3rd choice.

If they got the crime cleaned up it would instantly make BR a lot more desirable

Try almost 60 years old…the “new” bridge was built in 1968.

I’m transplanted to Arkansas and while I truly enjoy much of the outdoor scene as well as less traffic, less daily headaches (there’s always something in BR), and less crime…

Despite all of that, Baton Rouge is my favorite place in the world. Just something about it and I truly believe our culture is something to be proud of. It’s unique and authentic. I love it. I miss it constantly and I hope to live there again someday.

then you must’ve lived in the wrong Atlanta suburb. Most of the northern crescent outside 285 is very good.

the play by play guy asked Ben where the bridge led to. I think Ben said it led to crawfish and boudin, and/or crawfish boudin.

uh, it's I-10 western terminus at the Pacific Ocean.

I’ve lived on South Carolina for about 25 years of my adult life. And if it were not for the brutally scorching hot summers, I may have moved back home at some point. We live 8 mins. from the beach which is really nice. The spring and fall weather last forever here , but the crime is about the same in both places. Lots of transients here bring the crime numbers up.

Try cities like Charleston, Savannah, Greenville, Knoxville. All better and a lot safer than any of those you listed. You people need to get around more.

That shot of the downtown riverfront they use during football night games is the definition of sexy.
