ESPN app sucks. Can I do anything to make it better

Any settings or whatever? Always terrible. Watching now with 30mbps so download cell signal. Crystal clear pics in movie channels but ESPN looks like a 1972 RCA tube ??
ETA: should have been more clear...I'm not watching it on my phone, I'm watching it on an Android TV on a boat using the ESPN app on the TV. TV gets signal from cellular router. I have similar problems on my home TV which is a sony with adroid espn app.

Get Youtube TV and you can watch all the espn games and record them. Just started using, don't like the company, but the app works great.

Streaming won’t work for me on ESPN app.

It works fine on my roku and firetv.

Can't get past a Needs to Reauthenticate error on my phone but can watch on a laptop. So frustrating.

Watch ESPN app works great on this end. Forget trying to go ough the ESPN app.

I had the same problem with Uverse internet and streaming through the app. Switched to Cox internet and haven’t had any issues since. That was 4 years ago.

Watch ESPN hasn't even been an APP for about 6 months now.
