Main accuser?

He is the one pointing the finger at Jefferson.

There were 3 other victims in all of this. discrediting one for being involved in an incident inside doesn't clear wrongdoing by the players against the other 3.

Which players?

That's the problem. You can't press charges without evidence against a specific individual. You can't say I'm going to charge all ten of you guys with a crime because we think one of you did it.

Right now, the main accuser - the only one who has named names - has absolutely no credibility. If he is the only one fingering certain players, the DA will not accept charges in this case. Second degree battery is hard as shite to prove as is, much less with an accuser that no one will believe.

quote:

The video backs up parts of the police report, so the players aren't getting off based on Lowery being a hot head inside the bar.

Again, when you can't point to a specific individual, you can't charge.

The thing I gather is this is a possible way it happened:

Wing is hitting on Lowery's ex inside

Lowery comes in stalking and starts jawing with Wing eventually decking Wing, small scuffle begins and Lowery is removed, and LSU players asked to leave too.

Other 3 guys, people who know Lowery, come to pick up a friend, and upon leaving honk the horn at the LSU players blocking the way dawdling.

Players react talking shite and guy gets out also talking shite trying to get them to move their asses.

Players take offense and wail on the guy, other two guys get out to help their friends and get wailed on.

Lowery waiting to harass his ex outside the bar sees people he knows get beat up and runs in pulling the driver out. LSU players realize it's the same douche from inside and start pounding on him, eventually with one or two kicking him while he's on the ground.

Players run off and leave.

In the end, it's still the onus on the players for going too far and the fact is the person with the fractured vertebrae was the driver not Lowery.

My guess is two people will be charged, JJ and whoever is deemed to have cracked the guys vertebrae. Both will be plead down to misdemeanors and both players suspended for 3 games or so.

My bet is everyone is gonna get charged

I will take that bet.

Not being a smart arse, but doesn't make sense.

The "victims" indicated they wanted to press charges, "Per the Police"

If police come back to these "Victims" and inform them they now they could have charges placed against them, Il imagine all charges would go away.

Nothing will come of this. Even the happenstance will not happen

Why does nobody understand that JJ is done. That all those players are still going to be suspended. This mess has tarnished LSU. This is a much bigger deal than what RP did with a gun. If Miles is smart he throwns JJ off the team so the younger guys realize that nobody is safe. The longer Miles takes to do something the worse it will get in that locker room.

You mean Lowery's friend who was with him hours after the fight and kept in touch with him that morning after he got out of the hospital?

This is looking more and more like what I thought a day after it happened.
This dude started his shite, came at the players with the typical "I'm a marine!" attitude and got his arse whooped. Now he's butthurt and wants to play like he's the victim.

Is this dude from Livingston parish? Sounds like he belongs there.
