It doesn't mean that it but it does mean that much of the police report version continues to be flushed out as BS.

This is a good point. The more holes that are found in the "victim's" story, the less credibility they have.

- Andrew Lowery is incapacitated (as shown on video)
- Andrew Lowery is kicked in the face by a taller than average black male (which is also shown on the video)

PR is PR - but the LAW is the LAW. All the DA needs is that video + motive. Witnesses provide motive, even the ones who think they are helping JJ.

This may all be true, but it's hard to feel sorry for Lowery if he's the one that started it all. Not only that, it's probably hard for a reasonable person to be clammoring for justice in an event that the supposed "victim" created.

keep trying but looks like a team sweep comeback

I guess we'll see.

Lowery will end up looking like the biggest douche in BR after this incident, but JJ will certainly be charged still. I really don't even WANT to maintain my position at this point, but I know that what im saying is what's going to happen. JJ will be charged. There is the video and it shows Lowery getting kicked in the face after the fight is over. Honestly, if Lowery hit someone else besides JJ, and the witnesses still report JJ as being the one who kicked Lowery in the face when he was down, then this makes it look even worse on JJ. It'll end up looking like JJ wasn't invovled in the fight -- until he kicked a man in the face that was on the ground.

Not so - like i said - most spousal abuse cases are initiated by the wife.

I guess it's more of a restaurant thing then?

yea restaurants can't have drunk employees dropping food all over the place, although I have a story for that

2) How is who started it relevant to charges of 2nd degree battery. Just cause someone swings first doesn't mean it's okay to kick then while they are down and defenseless at the end of the fight.

this isn't high school wrestling...

Thank you. I'm guessing A LOT of people in here have never been in a REAL fight. You sure as hell don't play nice when the other person wants beat the hell out of you.

I also wonder what else these frickers lied about. You'd think a "kick" to the FACE or back of the HEAD would do waaaay more damage. Espcially from a football player. Hell lets add in a football player weighing over 6ft and weighing over 220lbs. I've seen frickers get punched in the face looking worse than Lowrey. I doubt if the players kicked the man hard if any of them really did kick him in the face. All this shite is fishy.

So who is the blonde in the video... the girlfriend? Because she is kicking the crap out of Lowery as well.

you got to be a crazy mofo to take a swing at a SEC football player if your just an average slapdick 22 year old

1. The guy is not just an average 22 year old.

2. My old neighbors used to go out to Tigerland a lot just wanting to go fight. They were big enough and i wouldnt be shocked if they tried to start shite with football players. I don't know tha they did though.

The longer BRPD takes more and more witnesses will be coming out with new stories. Why not get in on the carnival if you can have your name in a story by the AP..

The Shady's employee's may not have witnessed everything that happened in the parking lot. Most establishments like this prohibit employees from leaving the building when things like this happen. I bet there statements apply only to what happened in the bar.

I'll just say this: you're not going to go into Hooter's or Happy's and do shots w/ the bartenders. But if you go to say, Slinky's, Duvic's or even The Chimes (depending on who's working), all bets are off.

I know John Peak...went to high school with him. I believe what he says he's always been a good guy. If a football player had thrown the first punch he would say so. Glad to hear that wasnt the case

"Team Sweep" (which is unethical in itself as a label) members are rallying around some good PR for their case. Not sure its anything more than PR. Honestly, this would better suit a case as being introduced during the case -- DA will reframe case now.

Honestly, would they be dumb enough and say the LSU players started it. What kind of repercussions would that have had for the bar and themselves.
