doesn't seem like he's critical of the locker room at all... just the NCAA rule of not paying players.

You misinterpreted what he was trying to say. He’s complaining about athletes being paid, not disliking the locker room.

You're the second person today that started a thread about Eric Reid and completely misinterpreted what he said.

Yeah, all of this $26M dollars spent solely on athletes and being pampered and given everything they possibly need isn’t enough. Plus the 6 figure college education is also not enough

What about baseball and basketball players? What about the women’s soccer team? They’re all student athletes too.

What about the football scout squad? Are they going to get the same amount a second teamer makes? Are you going to pay a true freshman that splits time with seniors the same?

Players receive a stipend, free tuition, free meals, free housing, free tutoring and other perks.

For LSU specific, they are on the low end of the stipend for SEC schools (2015 data):

quote:

LSU ranks ninth in the SEC in the cost of attendance stipend at $3,920. Tennessee has the largest COA disbursement in the SEC at $5,666, followed by Auburn at $5,586, Alabama at $5,386, Mississippi State at $5,156, Ole Miss at $4,890, Arkansas at $4,500, Missouri at $4,290, South Carolina at $4,201, LSU at $3,920, Florida at $3,830, Georgia at $3,746, Kentucky at $3,598 and Texas A&M at $3,528. Vanderbilt, which is not a state school like the other 13 in the SEC and not subject to state open records laws, did not provide its COA figure.

I don't know what it is now, but I would expect this to be an area where Woodward can step in and push for change.

Hello retard....
I used their title and quoted Reid.

At the end of the day he is saying that instead of having a nicer locker room, the players should be paid. So he is being critical of the locker room.
