If so, he deserves a hell of a lot of credit. Dude bleeds purple and gold.

If not, does he step aside to hand the reigns to Brady?

Definitely not bashing the guy. I'm just unclear of exactly who does what when we are on offense.

The "play calling" is nowhere near the most imporant aspect of this offense.

Somebody came in and successfully implemented a scheme. WRs understand it. The QB understands it. Defenses have a ton of problems reacting to it. And, it is constantly putting our playmakers in space with the ball in their hands. That's where the genius lies. That's who we can't let go.

I appreciate Ensminger. But, at no point should our appreciation for him overcome paying and giving the job to the guy who architected this change.

Depends. According to the rant if the play works, it was called by Brady. If it doesn't, it was called by Ensminger.

Pretty sure it's a group effort but I believe Brady is being groomed to take the reigns.

I’ve heard like 30 different things from the coaches

I’ve heard Brady suggests plays and if E likes it he runs it

I’ve heard Brady straight up calls some series

If Brady wasn’t heavily involved I dont Think he would be in the booth.

Also the play calling is just better than when E was doing it.

Yes he calls the plays on the headset. He also calls a lot of plays. Brady calls a lot of plays. As for who calls what? who knows.

FWIW, in his earlier years when Ensminger was an OC he was known for slingin it a lot. What I think Brady has brought tot the table is the RPO scheme and the 4-5 wide routes and where to attack them. If you notice now just about everything LSU runs attacks a weakness that is designed into the play. The key is Burrow is smart enough to read the play and make the right choices and get it to them.

Whoever it was called a great game. The qb draw on 3rd and short late in the 4th was masterful.

I think it's a joint effort, honestly.

No one on the Rant has ever said that. But, only someone on the Rant would post this ignorant response.

Defensive much?

I've seen during several different times if there is a bad sequence of plays, somebody saying, "Ensminger must be calling this sequence and need to go back to Brady."

Ensminger had not scored one point vs the Tide in two prior efforts.

This time we scored 46. Deductive reasoning would lead me to believe Joe Brady is calling the plays, not the "thinking man's quarterback".

True, but he did not have the plays that we have now. I hope E stays along with Brady lending that experience along with the modern offense. Deadly combination.

According to the experts here, E calls the plays that don't work, Brady calls the plays that do work

These people are brilliant

I sorta Agree

It’s like this, I always Put onion in my crawfish boil

I dont Like onion, I dont Eat the onion (and not many people do) but I’ve never done it without the onions, so even though I thinknill Be ok without them, I keep Putting them because onions are cheap and why risk it.
