He didn't have to draw up and implement his own playbook/system. He hasn't had to do that in 20 years. In what universe is taking someone else's system and simply calling plays more impressive than implementing your own system and playbook AND calling plays?

Bama gave up 13 points/game in 2016.
Florida gave up 16.5 points/game in 2016.
We averaged 5 against those guys.
But at least we can re-establish dominance over Troy...... That's the dream.

exactly my point. It's like having to give a speech in a foreign language, of course it is harder. Very impressive to be able to call a game from a playbook and system that is not even your own and still do far better than the person whose system it is
