Because of JD?

You see, this is the problem right here.
Either you didn’t watch that game or you don’t know what you saw.

Nah, I watched the game and saw many problems. One of which was a QB we were told made progress in decision making and pushing the ball down field. That didn’t happen, even with 8 in the box daring him to throw the ball!

JD provides us the wheels we need to be dynamic.

The biggest lie on this board is the ides that you NEED a running QB. It's an awful lie. The same lie repeated millions of times during the garbage Les Miles offense era.

People will stop calling for Nuss when JD becomes an effective downfield passer.

So I guess we will never stop calling for Nuss

JD IS AND WILL BE THE STARTER FOR THE YEAR.

Agree with this (unless he gets injured).

As for next year, if there's another JD in the portal, then Nuss has much chance starting here as Brennan did last year.

This is the NIL era. Nuss will eventually leave. No telling who we will have here next year.

That makes absolutely no sense. What an asinine take.

Typical communist atttitude. Let's just give something to someone without merit. Let's just kill competition. Let's just suck the soul out of Nuss by telling him he has absolutely no chance to play this year no matter how well he's doing

Could actually be a better quarterback

Yeah, and if not for the fact Nuss throws as many interceptions as he does touchdowns and can’t run, they would be right

The entire problem with your post is the assumption that JD deserves to be the unquestioned starter.

Right, and the whole problem with those who want Nuss to start is the assumption that he would do better. Neither of these groups know shite. I know, but that’s because I have inside information.

I’ll share it here:

The coaches chose JD. This is the sort of inside information that’s available to everyone.

WHY? JD stats are horrible for a QB. End of discussion stats attached, these show otherwise. Id rather seen one of the 1st year freshmen vs Grambling
JD is JD after 4-5 years of starting, no change.

2022 Passing TDs 17
Game 1 vs Florida State 2 passing TDs
Game 2 vs Southern 3 passing TDs
Game 3 vs Miss St 1 passing TD
Game 4 vs New Mexico 0 TDs passing
Game 5 vs Auburn 8/20 with 80 yards passing 0 TDs passing
Game 6 vs Tennessee 1 passing TD (1 INT)
Game 7 vs Florida 3 passing TDs (good game)
Game 8 vs Ols Miss 2 passing TDs
Game 9 vs Alabama 2 passing TDs (good game)
Game 10 vs Arkansas 8/15 86 yards and 1 INT 0 passing TDs
Game 11 vs UAB 1 passing TD
Game 12 vs Texas A&M 0 passing TDs
Game 13 vs Georgia 1 passing TD (Nussmeier 15/27 2 passing TDs 1 INT) after sitting the bench all year Nuss pops in vs a far superior talent and does well.
Game 14 vs Purdue 1 passing TD (Nuss had 2 passing TDs and an INT)

You must not have been around when Rohan was behind Booty or JRuss was behind Randall or when Lee and Jefferson were behind Hatch or when Etling was behind Harris. Just because someone is starting doesn’t mean it’s the correct decision and that’s been proven with all those examples I just provided at LSU alone.

Why would he leave when he will likely start for two years?
