Did y'all not know it was going to be blazing hot? Why even put yourself through the heat, traffic and not really entertaining football? That is a lot of money to be miserable when you can watch it at home.

I will never understand why this is happening. You can say what you want but it is absolutely embarrassing. Stadium looked pathetic yesterday.
TV did not show the number of people about to pass out under the stadium...

We have an extremely weak fanbase now. Its living off the old hype about how intimidating it is outside of the bama or uf game

I left at halftime. Wife was ready to leave and I’m not going to make her sit out in the heat to watch a mediocre product on the field.
You want more fans to stay? Make it a night game and don’t let shite teams hang around with you for half the game.
ETA: And if you weren’t at the game to start with, then you have no room to talk

The lack of a mechanism in which game-times can be changed to account for a level of heat that might cause 9-1-1 to blowup is a sign of profound stupidity and a dumbfounding lack of common sense from everyone in a decision-making role in college football.
If there'a a bolt of lighting, they clear the stadium faster than you can say "Geaux Tigers", TV schedule be damned. But everyone has to plow ahead like a moron with a heat index that would make someone in Equatorial Africa blush? Frick off.

I will never understand people that criticize the attendance of the game, that did not actually attend the game.
It was hot AF on the east side of the stadium, thousands of people were in the corridors. I experienced it myself, and do not blame a single person for leaving, it was in fact a safety issue.
You “never understanding” while already justifying why you weren’t there. And if you were there, I don’t know what to tell you - there were EMS situations right in front of your eyes.

I would tell everyone to use sunscreen to avoid Major Burns.
Or just drink a bottle of Pepto.

Were you there yesterday? You still haven't answered that question?

Breaking news- fans that don't make the effort to go to games complain the loudest about what fans at the game do or don't do
I stayed for the whole game. I don't remember much from the second quarter. I was just trying to stay hydrated. Once we got in the shade it was much nicer.
I completely understand why people on the east side left or moved

Well, I can tell you….if you were on the East Side….you couldn’t stand it more than 2 quarters….felt like 100+ w no breeze
Makes you think that if the east side had a huge awning over it, hot games could be tolerated

Those who knew how to get around the stadium to the shade, did it.
The sheriffs on the west side of NEZ were blocking everybody from walking on the concourse inside the stadium or coming through the tunnels underneath, towards the shaded areas, asking everybody to either “show your blue wristband” or turn around - even if it wasn’t part of the student section…
It was fricking ridiculous, like they were GUARDING the shade and not letting anybody get in it

Pussy, I vacated the east side to section 105. Where were you ?
