I appreciate Curry's hard work and toughness, but hope to see this RB rotation narrowed down to Emery and TDP getting the majority of touches going forward. Three's a crowd, much higher upside with these two. Some creativity and getting them the ball in space would also be a welcome sight to see.

If one separates himself enough to be the featured back, great. Otherwise, I hope we roll with this two-headed monster. They've both shown flashes of how special they can be.

And what in Emery or TDP’s play has led to to say Curry doesn’t deserve equal touches?

I think I would still give all 3 equal reps for the time being- none of them has pulled away and I think Curry is very good. Would like to see them try and get Emery on the outside a bit more- that’s where he excels.

I admittedly don’t know what should be done about the rotation though. I think most of us agree rotating them each series doesn’t allow any of them to get into a rhythm though.

Curry averages more ypc than the other 2 guys and is the only one who’s averaged over 5ypc since all three where at LSU. They all need to play because none of them give us the all around game we need alone.

Sullivan downfield blocking on both TD runs. Gonna miss that guy.

I can remember threads just like this one about Clyde last year. Not saying you’re wrong but there’s a whole lot of time left to make you look like a fool

I'm afraid Emery won't be used right and will enter the portal. It's a shame considering he was the #1 rb in the country. What is he not doing to not be the starting rb

They need to pick one main RB and supplement with the other two. Trying to give all three equal carries ain’t going to work

Thankfully your opinion is unimportant to the coaches..

I feel Like Curry is the kind of back who can do more with less but Emery is the kind who can do more with more.

There will be some gut check games where we need a solid 3 and not much more. I'll take Curry.

Not sure he’s more versatile. Orgeron has talked about his struggles with the passing game since he arrived at LSU. Just because you’re faster and smaller doesn’t mean you’re better in the passing game. You have to be able to block, understand protection, run routes and catch passes or that speed means nothing.

Curry is a strong runner and can hit the hole downhill but doesn’t have good vision or lateral movement. He’s serviceable but not a star. The other 2 have a higher ceiling

Reading between the lines, I think the coaches would love for 1 or 2 of them to separate themselves. Apparently, for whatever reason(s), that hasn’t happened yet.

Regardless, we need to run the ball way fricking more than we did Saturday. That was such shite game planning on both sides of the ball.

Maybe he isn't putting in enough work for the coaches, maybe he isn't a practice player so doesn't stand out in practice, there's many reasons.

A recruiting rating doesn't always equal college success either

Curry showed more in the SEC CG than Emery ever has.

I know he’s the star recruit that all the fans think needs to be on the field.

But he’s #3 in the rotation for a reason.

Not a fan of running back by committee. Seems like Emory is the best back capable of making big plays if he gets over 5 carries a game. Drop this 3 back BS!!!

Emery is still struggling with the plays. O said on his coaches show that emery ran the wrong route on the pass that Brennan threw a little behind him.
