The most logical choice is still LSU. Could put UF team and staff in a hotel in Nola if needed and drive in for the game.

If your going to house the team in New Orleans play it at the Dome as a Florida home game. If you play at TS, then let our guys stay in their rooms and give up Lod Cook to the Gators.

Maybe but I definitely think UF would prefer the Superdome over TS. Superdome crowd will be somewhat less hostile than TS crowd. It would also force LSU to still treat as a road game.

yeah if they move it i feel uf's athletic department will do everything in their power to move it to a neutral site over tiger stadium

Is GA Dome not a suitable option? Sorry if it's already been mentioned

Such as it is with anyone who evacuates from the path of a hurricane, is it not?

Correct. I was merely confused about why someone would say folks wouldn't be welcoming to the Florida team like they were to USC.

I think it's obvious UF is going to do everything not to come to BR, but it's also becoming more apparent that this game doesn't need to happen in Gville due to medical and security personnel being needed in hurricane affected areas.

I would move it to the Dome. As stated before, it can be ready, hotels are available, and Saints are off.

Latest track has the storm moving more east now. This is going to be an interesting decision.

I just don't see how LSU can justify sending their team knowing that a major hurricane is just off the coast and Gainesville is still in cone of uncertainty.

This. This is being logical. If it isnt 100% guaranteed with safety then you almost have to kill it.

We had a game with A&M in 1988 when Hurricane Gilbert was bearing down on the texas coast. Literally as late as friday morning Bama officials had a call with the texas EMA and they could not guarantee our team could get out and how long they would be there if they couldnt. Its just a chance that would be irresponsible to take. We played the game later but we both had dates we could play but do not send these boys into that situation. We dont need you having a Marshall situation. Error on the side of caution and then you know its gonna be ok.
