My mistake, you did get what I was saying. Still was a wonderful response.
If LSU fans want to consider themselves among the elite in the country, they need to be able to stick it out in a little rain.

Agreed, having said that I'm still not going to moan, groan, and bitch at somebody for making a decision to leave the game

I agree...why even go at all---pitiful! You all expect our team to play the full game---then why shouldn't we stay to support them!

If LSU wants to start handing out full scholarships to fans for staying the whole game then we can have this argument

Yeah, it was a weak showing by the fans.

It was a close SEC game and they left because of tiny droplets of water.

I couldn't help but notice the more expensive the seat, the more likely it was empty. The end zones looked relatively full, or was this just a TV illusion?

I just wish the commentators would stop raving about our fans and about the fear of coming to Tiger Stadium. We are living off of the reputation established in the past. I've seen several games in which the announcers seem surprised by lack of support. Surprised, I guess, due to the reputation.

yes, a huge surprise that fans left in the ran during the Vandy game.

A shocker.

Actually looked like many of the fans came back - at least in the end zones.

Like maybe that got out of the downpour for awhile then came back after the rain slowed to a sprinkle. At least it looked that way on TV.

If you were at the game and left at half you should be ashamed. Don't use the rain as an excuse.. you wouldn't want the players to use that as an excuse. Pathetic.

I pay good money for my fricking season tickets. They are mine... its a free country...and I can do as I please. Who the frick do you think you are you to sit here and tell me I have to stay at a rainy arse game. I can leave the games whenever the frick i want you pussy.

Of course you may do as you will. Of course, at the same time, you still will be called a douche for leaving. After all, it's a free country, isn't it?

Idiot statement. I read on here all the time that people pretend that football is the only sport that matters. LSU wins the college baseball world series, and people start posting, "Great, were almost to football season."

Yet, these same fans pick what games are important and what games aren't. You are stupid if you think LSU is so far above any SEC team that we don't even care about the game. Vandy won a bowl game last year. It's one thing to say it about ULL, but any SEC opponent is worth a 100% crowd effort.

Yes, I was there for the entire game. Screw USC/OSU, rain, and any other excuse, I want to see the Tigers play.

I pay good money for my seats. If I dont feel like sitting in the rain and watching LSU frick around with Vanderbilt....thats my decision....i pay the money for the seats..not you. it aint like the seats are given for free.
