If you were at the game and left at half you should be ashamed. Don't use the rain as an excuse.. you wouldn't want the players to use that as an excuse. Pathetic.

P.S. we have no identity on offense yet but I feel better about the D now.

Further embarrassed by the fact that Brock Huard was making fun of us.

IT would take a category 3 hurricane to get me out of that stadium in the first conference game of the year that was a battle.

+1000

the more they raise prices, the more they divide football games into a class exclusive activity. It turning into less and less die hard fans and more upper-middle class older people looking for a somewhat entertaining way to spend their saturday. pathetic is the best word to describe it.

Hope this thread doesn't get whacked...
Anyone watching on tv could see how empty it got after the half. The ESPNU guys pointed it out right away. Nothin new under the sun...or rain, as it were.

Maybe they feel that's the only way they can show their disapointment in the way this incredible talent is being wasted. Watching the coaching staff's enthusiasm and spark is like watching water evaporate...... my appologies to the water.

You ever take your wife and kids to a game in the rain? You have to remember, it's not just guys in the stands.

Don't worry, I actually moved my TV outside and watched the game in the rain to make of for it.

I agree. You spend 50 bucks for a ticket, buy a 2 dollar poncho and suck it up.

Having never had the privilege to attend an LSU game in my life, I am very disappointed that those who take it for granted just leave. It's bad enough when it is against a little sorry school, but in a tight conference game I think it's unacceptable.

At least the students and real football fans will stay no matter what!

That's a bunch of whiney BS. Get your head out of your arse and look around. 90% of those fans are under 40. "Old affluent" people seeking a Saturday night entertainment aren't likey to face paint up and go to the park in the rain. (It's been raining all day). There's plenty to do in BR besides self torture.

They expected something they didn't see last year and were disapointed.

Oh give me a break!! Of course I am up her ein North Louisiana when I am able to get tickets never leave a game early even thoug I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me at night ot get back home.

I have to admit the fans have got a lot more weak ovr the years.

Not sure you get what I was saying, but man that sure was an educated, well thought out argument.

You're saying if you spend that much spend a little extra to take the rain away from being an excuse for leaving...I'm saying people who pay to watch the game can do what they want
