Starter and DBU and could have made a name for himself and put himself amongst the greats. Still don't understand the move to Bama.

Get over it. She’s gone.

He was paid. The defense got better when he was off the field anyways.

He left a back to back 6-6 team that fired the coaching staff he committed to, and went to the current greatest program in CFB that was in the title game again.
I'm not a fan of the dude doing it, but yeah.

I dont know how much it mattered but he was an Orgeron recruit back to his days as a little kid attending Ed's camps at USC.

Terrible at covering and always went for the int.
Glad he is gone.

Some people in life are born to be followers.

IDK but I'm petty and I hope he spends the rest of his career 5th on the depth chart and has to come back and beg a car dealership for a job

It's not all that difficult to understand if you take off the purple and gold glasses

some people want the easy way...they want to be given stuff with minimal effort...you get it yet?

He's a little bitch. Plain and simple. I can't wait until LSU runs at this dude every down and makes his arse sore.

I agree and understand, ultimately people are motivated by different things. Even in NCAA football games (lol), recruiting players was playing to what they looked for. Some guys wanna win rings, some guys couldn't care less. Some guys want to go to the NFL and others aren't even thinking about that.
It's clear what Ricks is looking for and that he doesn't think LSU has that anymore.
Oh well.

Hell, let's just look at it objectively. He's going into his 3rd season which he likely assumes will be his final season of college football (regardless of others may think of his draft prospects). The team he plays for has just struggled to reach .500 for two straight seasons. Mostly because of very weak defenses. The HC and entire coaching staff that recruited him to LSU from California are also let go. So his options are: (A) Remain at LSU to play for a (to him) unknown coaching staff for a team with an uncertain immediate future or (B) Join the program who you can essentially pencil into the playoffs each season and has had the most draft picks over the past several years.
I'm not saying I would have made the same decision he made. But from the outside looking in you can completely understand why he did.

Come on dude. If you legitimately think this, then you are beyond help.
Yes, it sucks that he left. Yes, it was a bitch move. He was a damn good CB while he was here though.

Its not hard to understand...
Bama is the best in college football. Simple as that.
He will most likely get a title.
He is getting paid a shite-ton.
He is not from here, so he has no loyalty to the state.
His coaches are gone.
His fellow DBs are (mostly) gone.
