Trent put the nail in our coffin, they kicked field goals and yes, they scored touch downs.

I try to be as non-biased as possible but that just isn't correct. In my opinion, Lacy is even better than Richardson. Richardson was kind of overrated.

What's going on here?

Are we talking about LSU or Bama?

But Alabama's passing game hasn't been tested yet. Especially with young WRs.

Sorry. Were we talking about LSU or Bama?

We have young receivers as well. And a unproven QB on the road.

Bama will be at home though. LSU coming off a Bye Week. And Bama is coming off what should be some physical match ups.

Alabama is a very good team. Probably top in the nation with LSU. But the way ESPN is making them out to be is overrated.

I totally agree. Neither teams have been tested yet. Both teams are good but are different in certain areas. I don't think Bamas can put 8 in the box against us because we have a much better QB this year. That could be the difference in the game once our defense gels more in he season.

In my opinion it's nearly impossible to judge a Bama RB being that they're running behind the best O-Line in football.

Let's face it, Mark Ingram had no business winning the Heisman. He was running thru wide open gaps.

You're insane...Lacy for one can't even stay healthy. Richardson stole carries from a heisman candidate and winner. Yeldon is already more impressive than Lacy.

Richardson is probably the most talented RB ever to step onto that campus.

They are definitely the best running o-line.. LSU is right up there with em.. but I really want to see us shut down the run so I can see LSU's D get after the QB. Fluker and company struggled against Western Kentucky elite rushers.. Flat out couldn't handle the speed on the edge.

LSU didn't put any special planning into stopping Trent Richardson. LSU is one of the few schools in college football with NFL caliber athletes to match Alabama. They stopped him in Alabama earlier and basically shut him down in the title game if not for that last run where he scored a TD by bouncing outside after they stuffed the middle. Only reason he scored was you couls see the quit in them knowing the game was over!

That is about as biased of a statement as possible and ignorant to boot. Ingram was a beast and won the heisman. The next year hes overrated and richardsons better. Now that richardsons gone lacy is better. Now thats flat out homerism.

Lacy is not at all on the level of Trent Richardson.. yes he's capable, but as others have said.. it doesn't really matter who's carrying it behind that line. I will say Richardson seemed a little prone to fumble it from time to time tho against us.. At least I think I remember that.

Lacy has put on more size this season I noticed, but is not better than Richardson. Richardson can be elusive with his power. Lacy with the weight gain is more straight ahead power now, should be easy for LSU to shut down.

They haven't shown signs of struggling since though...WKU also beat up on Kentucky for over 60 minutes too. Don't be surprised to see them "upset" southern Miss this saturday.

My thoughts as well. Alabama has a great team this year but i do think they are being vastly overrated. Oh well, that just means the media will look even dumber when we show em whos the real boss in the SEC

precisely, Alabama cleared out Bus size holes for him to run through. Now with the Saints, he's not getting those types of holes and look at the difference. Richardson is the better runner, he's more elusive, but not as special as people think. He's the best of the Alabama runningbacks!

i don't think none of them are in the same league as Trent

According to the Gumps Yeldon is better than Richardson. First freshman Heisman.

Our defense did fine against them except they were on the field too long due to lack of offense. Then eventually lack of hope. Our defense is better and we actually have an offense now so yeah. I don't care who calls us the underdog we ain't losing in Tiger Stadium.
