This was mentioned in his press conference this afternoon. This coaching search has been going on for awhile now clearly.

I wonder how long the team has known?

About how long it’s been rumored that PM was out.

What makes you think he couldn’t have been looking at head coaching jobs even if Mainieri was coming back?

Yeah, seems like that’s a good step up either way.

That’s a fair point. But the rumor about a month ago was that even if PM decided to come back, Dunn (100%) and probably Eddie had to move on.

Perfect timing for Eddie. Hope he does well. Now that he is a head coach, he will start to get a salary as he wasn’t getting one at LSU.

Still amazing to me that the NCAA shot down the 3rd paid assistant deal

Part of the reason was because two conference delegates (coincidentally both women) voted against the wishes of the conference members. As in the conferences voted for it and then delegate turned in a no vote. Because their schools didn’t want it.

Moarr rowing coaches...or not. Sankey gave me hope for baseball again in a appearance during the SECT last week.

Kristen Cain leaving her L Club post was ‘tell tale’ for me.
