Nobody says they love Trump unless it is true. Especially a football coach.

Even if he does love Trump, who cares? He's one of two people running for president. Because someone may be voting differently shouldn't fricking matter. He's a football coach, not a politician running for office. His obligation to his players is in how he treats them and respects them. There's not a single player that can honestly say he hasn't always 100% had their backs, even players who have given him every reason not to.

Is all this erased because he made one comment that he “loves Trump” on a conservative news station, while advocating for the players to get to play this season?

Like i posted in another thread. Most of the LSU nation shares the love of our president. As does most of the people who pay for seats in NFL stadiums. We aren't racist and anyone who calls the president racist is calling all of his supporters racist. I am not sure if these guys are thinking with their own brains or listening to activists. We are already upset over the destruction and civil disorder.Video after video of old men and women and even children beaten, killed or harassed. They need to teach their children not to spit and curse and strike. We are angry to.

Don't make a problem when none existed. These players are looked up to and serve as role models. Never bite the hand that feeds you and has fed most of them their entire life.

Exactly who's the "they" you speak of the needs to teach their kids.....

Exactly who's the "we".

If you're not specific these are the words that lead to being labeled racist.

That's the biggest problem with all of the press; all sides of the equation. It also is a dangerous reality for anyone in the public light. Just about every sentence said in public needs to be fully detailed so that sound bites can't be taken out of context. What a sad world we live in where a couple words can be used to light a fire with gasoline and the press no longer has any form of integrity. All any of them care about is making money. The formula is to scare people so that they cannot look away. Sad.

I just don't understand the hatred for the "woke" crowd as you put it. At least the "woke crowd" isn't claiming they're superior to another human being because of the color of their skin, looking at you KKK, skin heads, white supremacist. Are these groups "woke" also???

“At least the "woke crowd" isn't claiming they're superior to another human being because of the color of their skin,“

One of their high profile members or supporters literally does this every week in public. They push critical race theory which is blood guilt and race based persecution.

Nick Cannon, Dwayne Wade, any BLM leader ever interviewed. They’ve called themselves superior to other races and for genocide multiple times.

Well shite, for over 400 years and still counting, the KKK consider themselves “woke”. And you’re sitting here complaining about BLM? I see you haven’t addressed the notion that the KKK deems themselves “woke”, or we just gonna ignore that fact?

Not only a strawman but a fantasy. You’re making things up, deflecting and creating a boogyman. Your comment was completely false and there are over 46 violent political groups who are larger than the KKK in this country. Go educate yourself instead of repeating prescribed and debunked twitter talking points.

Just to play devil's advocate here...

1) So has every LSU coach dating back to Saban, at least.

2) See #1

3) This is highly subjective. Some players would disagree.

4) See #1

5) Very generic. So did pretty much every college football coach.

6) Only after being called out for not saying anything (for right or wrong)

7) See #6

8) See #6

Do you have a list of violent political groups, by size?

I'd bet more than half are white supremacist groups even more belligerently race baiting than the KKK.

There are over 1,000 violent political groups nationally now. Most are left wing but even smaller satellite groups of Arian prison gangs outnumber the KKK who’s now split into 3 factions with anywhere from 2-500 members in each.

EthanHunt:
Do some serious study on "Cajuns". Too many outsiders read a little & assimilate more under that term than serious studies bear out. Too many people read tourist brochures & come to outlandish conclusions. Having a French name doesn't make you an ethnic group; even if the government says so. I grew up in the 3rd oldest town in La. with not a single Englishman in my family tree back to the 1600's. Coach "O"'s heritage is rich & deep; it requires respect to properly understand it.

Cool. Do you have a link to that?

The fact that white supremacists are divided into multiple groups (as long as they have at least 2 members lol) doesn't necessarily mean they aren't a major political movement.

That link literally says nothing about the size of the KKK or any other hate group. Or anything about violence. You are triggered as frick right now.
