I agree. I love Ray Parker’s potential. I just listed potential starters.

You need to add Rosenthal at RT. He will more than likely start there next year. Then once Charles
Leaves, he will slide over to LT. The kid will be a stud OT once he learns the position.

Don't sleep on Tyrion Davis,

Not on your life. Anyone not familiar with this kid needs to go watch his video. Very good runner with a nice burst for a big kid.

I am really looking forward to seeing him in the P & G.

If he comes back.. our O-line will be rock solid next year, and we will have serviceable backups with plenty of playing time experience

Davis will be the power runner we are lacking this year. Not only that, he has breakaway speed. 6'1 230 and runs a 4.49.

Not having a power runner was what really hurt us vs UF. Interior run D is their weakness. That will not be the case for LSU in 2019.

Here’s my thing with Taylor, if he never put on that gold helmet again I would understand, and honestly I don’t ever expect to see him again. But as long as the kid doesn’t have a long history of doing stupid illegal shite that we don’t know about, and this is his first offense, would you be open to giving him a second chance?

You dont accidentally drive someone to rob a place. F that dude, he needs to go to jail.

Probably not though. Dare has great potential but Deculus is getting better every game.

I'm glad to hear this, sounds like his legal issues are resolved.

Not really, it reads like he knows he didn't do anything wrong but at this point is putting it in God's hands.

Nothing personal against the kid, but I think it's time for Taylor to go the JUCO route or something. We have some really good young LB's and he needs to get his life straight.

I hope the legal system works and he is in fact innocent of these charges. But, having had experiences with the legal system, on both sides, I can honesty say justice is not always served.

There are some good young OTs on that 19' recruit list too. Anthony Bradford will be a good one and Ray Parker is very athletic and will be a great OT to combat speed rushers. Then there's Thomas Perry who has a great pedigree and could develop into a solid option as well.

don't forget that Rosenthal made the switch to OT as well. He was a 5 star recruit as at OT. 6'8" 330 and can move.

Also you would think that at least one out of Traore, Savage, and Wire would emerge into a talent. Plenty of options and depth next season on the oline.

the Oline is going to run deep with talent and the starting 5 will be beastly.

Cushenberry with a full year of experience under his belt and another year in the program to get bigger and stronger. Cole Smith by then up to a solid 300 (ok, make it maybe 290) backing him up. Charles Turner freshman in development stage.

Guard depth in order: Ingram, Kardell (even as a true freshman), Hines, Magee (unless he is at T), Lewis, and Campbell.

ON a different note: With all that depth on the Oline and the possibility of Lawrence and/or Fehoko going pro, then with Alexanders knee situation, and Shelvins issues, Maybe we can move Hines back to the dline (if it becomes necessary)? He is going to be great on either side of the ball and we may need him more on the dline next season. Anyway one reason to worry a little less about the dline if everything goes to shite knowing that could be an option.
Rosenthal probably is better suited to stay on the offense side of the ball but I think Hines could be very good on either side of the ball. Campbell may as well make the switch if needed also if he shows any aptitude for the dline if he can't crack the two deep at guard next year (though I thought his play was solid when he got PT this season) Maybe he will show a knack for the dline, and get a shot to get some significant PT his senior year, a chance to pique some NFL interest.

if Lawrence and Fehoko go, that leaves you with interior DL's: Question marks and/or limited: Alexander (with knee issues) and Shelvin (possibly still to fat, out of shape, and unfocused).
then you have as of now: Logan, Farrell, Jenkins, and Cotton (280lbs), then Livingston (to fat?), Justin Thomas (270 lbs), and true freshman Joe Evans.

might going to need some help on the interior DL from Hines

If Ingram returns, and our guys stay healthy and eligible:

LT - Charles
LT - Hines
OC - Cushenberry
RG - Ingram
RT - Deculus

LT - Rosenthal
LG - Lewis
OC - CSmith
RG - Magee
RT - Traore

Note that 8 of these guys have started games for LSU. That is some serious depth returning!!! If Bradford or KThomas break into that 2-deep, I will be most impressed.
