Cuz we’re gonna need him THIS year
Ehhh I don’t know what kind of shape he’s in but it’ll be hard to step in and play right now.

Since you sign up as a student at LSU. The Student Code of Conduct calls for behavior that doesn't reflect negatively on the university. Even suspicion of a crime reflects negatively; you must be above and beyond reproach. At least, that's what it said when I went to school there in the 80s.
Innocent until proven guilty is strictly a legal thing.

I doubt we see him at all until next year but hell yea
If he is reinstated, he will be practicing soon, if he knew he would be back then he probably did his best to stay in shape.
He can be back in a month possibly if he stayed in decent shape.
I'm sure even though he was suspended he had someone feeding him playbooks etc.

Since the beginning of time. Let’s say your neighbor was credibly accused of rape, and you decided you’d never speak to him again. Well, you are punishing him, and he has not been convicted. Should you be compelled to associate with him? You see, you are a private individual and can do as you please. And LSU is an institution that can do as it pleases. It pleased LSU not to be associated with someone accused of a reprehensible crime. That’s their right.

He will be your starting guard the second he is ready. He's been working out and in shape. Probably be 2-3 weeks til he's rolling and ready. Hoping by Florida

Accusations are simply that.
Would be wrong to suspend people based off accusations all the time. I don’t think comparing ignoring someone in person is the same as punishing a student on a scholarship.
If they are found guilty it’s going to catch up to them at some point.. usually in their professional life.. but the greater sin is missing time he lost out on and can never make up on some bs.

Thank you sweet baby Jesus! Give that man a helmet and throw him out af LG. Sucks we won’t have him for tomorrow but he will be ready to go for SEC play in 3 weeks.

Should not have taken nearly a year and a half to get to this point.
Exactly. This supports the conspiracy theory that the judge/prosecutor/defense attorney/f'n docket clerk was behind dragging it out.
Turned out to be the prosecutor. To reach a deal the day before this game, knowing the judge won't sign shite until next week is more than just a coincidence.
All you can do is tip your hat to the Texas criminal justice system...

still pissed at Texas court that intentionally held this up until after this big game with Texas.
That’s a ridiculous slander. In my experience the judicial system is dreadfully slow, and this is about what I expect.

Working out shape is totally different from practice/game shape
Posted on 9/6/19 at 6:30 pm to VolTiger13
Let him use the next 3 weeks to get used to contact again in practice and get his football legs under him and stick him at LG against Florida and forget about him because he will instantly challenge Cush and Lewis as the best lineman on the team. The interior of our line is going to be a strength by the Alabama game. If he’s been in shape like you say Vol then he could come back against Utah State so he can shake off the rust before Florida.

Will they slip him into some games for some playing time before then? I could actually see him playing a few snaps tomorrow just to give them the middle finger.

To all you young bucks out there, the lesson learned from this is...10 seconds of love can ruin your life! Females, gotta love em and gotta hate em and they can make up anything and ruin your life!

You don't know what slander is, apparently.
