I relayed my story to Eugene, another usher, and he told me he knows fans have complained numerous times about House. I asked why LSU puts up with it and Eugene said he wonders the same thing.
The next night (Saturday) after my confrontation with House I was walking up the same ramp pre-game where the incident had occurred the previous evening. Another usher, who I didn't know, approached me and asked me if I was the fan who said he was going to write Alleva about House. I told him I was.

He said House is a nice guy who has some personal issues and he hoped I wouldn't write to complain about House. I told him it was too late....I'd already mailed my letter that morning. (I decided to submit the complaint on paper rather than an email thinking it might actually be read if someone received it in USPS mail delivery.)

And I told him I disagreed with his assessment that House is a "nice guy."

The funny thing is, someone reading this with no experience of him would be like "no way this is true, probably just a bunch of drunk students mad at authority" but again I can verify that Ed house and his band of minions will scold and berate anyone of any age for no apparent reason. I can EASILY believe every story posted in this thread about him.

Even the other marshalls can't stand him. They all know how much of a dick he is. He berades them at times too.

I seriously wish Herb or Eddie could see this guy in action. The worst is when he runs over to the kids' playground and starts bitching at the kids.

You're probably right about that. Sad to say.

I just don't understand what House's secret is in keeping his job. His reputation is so bad that even The Rant knows him by name. That says A LOT!

I think I'm going to bring my video camera to the next home game and see if I can get him in action doing that. If I do, I'll send it to Alleva.

I wonder how he would react if he starting doing this, and I would be walking by and just casually say "dude, calm the frick down." What section does he "police"? I would like to know because I either sit in my tix in 98 or in my girlfreinds company seat above 1B dugout. Curious to know if I may ever run into the guy.

I don't think he has one section to usher. Maybe he's a supervisor of sorts.

So, he moves around. A moving target is harder to hit....

I videoed him on Saturday, but it was nothing over the line.

Also, I'm pretty sure he marshalls one of the first sections of the right field metal bleachers. But he definitely walks around policing as much shite as possible in every section though.

I know that last season, after I wrote my letter (after the regionals weekend), he was moved to left field for the super regionals.

He was in RF for the first game of the SR with Rice. That is when I had my confrontation with him. I was told the next night he was in LF for the second game of the SR.

My new favorite part of th. Games is when a minion starts creeping between sections 200 and 201 looking for a potential meddling situation, the whole section starts singing the jaws theme
