If O came after Saban he would have a better record than Miles. Miles is and always was trash. Saban players won Miles a fluke championship
You sound like an idiot

The entire stadium was singing "heeeey baby, I wanna knooooooow, will you be my giiiiirl".
That atmosphere was absolutely magical.
that wasn't near as good compared to beating Ut in 2000 in Ot and and we sang Hey baby that game also.

Possibly the best game I have ever been too as well. When Hilliard literally heaved a fully grown man off the field I really felt I could run through a brick wall after that run.

Les is gone because he couldn’t get pass Bama.
If that was true, he would still be here. Last few years he was losing to ole miss, miss st, Arkansas, Auburn, Alabama.
Miles had NFL level talent and he was losing to college kids.
I guarantee you, Saban could have taken our 11 team and beat his Bama team if miles was their coach.

That loss to Kentucky was inexcusable. Terrible management of personnel and playcalling. Kentucky was actually ranked that year and had a stud QB in Andre Woodson iirc.
But he gets a pass on the Arkansas game. They went all in on the Wild Hog that game in a way they hadn’t all year. We weren’t ready for the Wildcat when it had players like Darren McFadden and Felix Jones pulling the trigger. Oh, and some other scrub by the name of Peyton Hillis. That was just nasty. That is one of the most talented backfields in history, probably. That LSU played them to a draw for regulation and 2OTs is a shock in itself.
I remember walking out of the stadium after that game and feeling so devastated. That season was magical. Then shite went wild and I think it was OU lost to someone like Mizzou in the Big 12 championship game while Pitt upset West Virginia that had the incredibly electric Pat White, and Ryan Perriloux led LSU to a huge win over Tenn. I was working a catering gig and we kept sneaking off to check the LSU score and the WVA score on our phones. What a weird year.
ETA: also the year App State beat a highly ranked Michigan team at the beginning of the year, right? For my money, 2007 was the best year in college football history. Just constant upsets of the #2 team. Then LSU backdoored their way into the ‘ship against a pretty garbage OSU team and won it all? Perfection.

If Fournette does not get hurt before 2016. Miles is probably still the coach. With a 100% Fournette we beat Wiskey and Auburn.

Because I think comparing the accomplishments of Orgeron to Miles is a losing proposition at this point??
Because O was at Ole Miss the records don't compare.
That being said coach O has forgotten more football the Miles will ever know.

The 11 season was an exception,
anomaly and only title with all his players but he gets the credit and deservedly so

but Miles typically did less with more.
well he had 5 teams that coulda won the natty. all those guys put in pros. and just one natty we backed in to. he still deserves credit do not get e wrong but many people in the profession say he underachieved with the talent he had.

2011 LSU looked a lot like a Saban team. Not sure what improvement Saban would’ve gotten out of the passing game unless he brought Kiffin or somebody with him.

miles had a mediocre sec record the last few years and that is what matters. people like to glosss over that with the OVERALL record. he had a losing record against bama, ole miss and arky his last 3 years all combined.

LOL all you want. However, Miami was a top ten ranked team and no amount of laughing on your part is going to change that. Sorry for your loss.

Stop comparing O to Miles, it’s not really a winning position at this point.
I don't care what his record was, he was a clown, couldn't string together two sentences, mismanaged the roster, mismanaged the clock, was the only coach in BCS history to play in the title game with 2 losses, Miles did less with more.

You are trashing your school’s national championship because miles hurt your feelings. What a pussy
