Early Prediction - LSU will lose an early game or two, but stomp Bama's A##

Reading the tea leaves - LSU has to put all that motion offense in, which is a large part of its running and passing, meant to confuse defensive players and their assignments, get defensive players out of position. Early on, LSU's offensive players will likely have moments where they too are plenty confused. So figure an early loss or two for LSU, then again maybe the Defense carries LSU enough through the offense's early stumbles.

When LSU finally arrives to play Bama, they will be a much different team on offense, a far more dangerous team, everyone will know their roles. LSU's D nearly shut out Bama last year, look for LSU to again keep the Tide at bay, while the LSU offense lights up the Tide in somewhat of a blowout. Sophomore jinks will hit Bama's QB hard this year, particularly when it plays LSU.

Unlike in the Les Miles era, Orgeron is fully prepared to let LSU's offensive coord. throw everything at the Tide, Bama will not have near the time it needs to prepare for what LSU dishes out, so it wouldn't be surprising to see somewhat of a thrashing of the Tide.
