This is a no win game for LSU .
A win by more than 20 points will not impress anyone.
Anything much less is a moral victory for ND.
How did our AD manage this matchup?
The only justification I can see is that it should be a safe 9th win.

I do not see it as a SAFE win...
some of the injured players will be back.

We will curb stomp ND. They have a bad defense and a mediocre offense. They CANNOT stop an average run team. LF goes for 200+ yards and we dominate them the whole game. Our secondary will shut down their passing game and they have no running game.

Can't believe it's entirely this, but they had a starting lb go out mid season around the time their defense tanked. They gave up 12 points per game (e.g gave up 14 to Stanford) the first 5 games then collapsed and gave up 40+ the last 7, losing 5 of those games. Part of that was better competition, but they gave up 39 to Navy in that stretch. Their offense is good, not great (averages 6 ppt more than us, played a weaker schedule).
We should beat them by a TD.
