Eades could possibly mirror performance of Nola

Do we leave him in for 9th or bring in King Cotton? I like the decision to leave Nola in tonight. I don't think you could of peeled him off the mound. Maybe if Eades has lead going in 9th tomorrow, I bring in King Cotton.

I'll be so happy if Eades has that kind of performance. If he does go that far you for sure bring in Cotton.

Oklahoma's bats a very average. Eades will be good as long as he doesn't walk people. Eades won't shut them out.. but LSU is going to score some runs tomorrow.

If we have a lead in the 9th tomorrow and we're ready to punch our ticket Omaha, you better believe Cotton is getting the call. Even if we're up by 10, I bet we still bring him in just to let him get some work in.

We gonna need Cotton for Omaha at some point in time. He just seems lights out on mound as well. He gets me fired up. But dam, Nola is a freaking beast. He looked liked the first rounder.

If Eades throws like Nola did tonight, then you do the exact same thing as tonight. Bring Eades out in the 9th with Cotton warming. Eades gets in a hint of trouble, "Daddy needs a new pair of shorts, COTTON!"

Nola's pitch count was low enough to make this a no brainer decision.
There is very little chance that Eades' pitch count would be that low. There is even less chance, that he'll dominate the way that Nola did.
Having said that, I don't care who the pitcher is. If he's only given up 2 hits and is cruising the way Nola is, you don't take him out.
