EKU started out with a lefty throwing 70, and you know how that goes. Henry wasn't as dominant as normal, too many walks, and EKU made us pay. And we couldn't deliver with RISP. You thought we were always about to mount a comeback, but it never happened.

Little surprised Hampton is sitting. He had one of the three hits and had the hardest hit ball for LSU.
He had an awful throw back to the infield though. I’m sure that pissed Paul off.

I've been here 6 years, this is the earliest I can remember the Rant throwing in the towel on a baseball season. It's a bad start, but we've still got 3 months to see if it's justified.

I would have liked to have seen Hampton in the lineup as well. Guess Paul wants the lefty in the lineup with Gio.

I get being pissed off about individual games. Hell I was fuming last night myself.
But I don’t see how people can’t understand what’s going on and just automatically jump to “this is going to be an awful season and everyone should be fired”.
Be mad about the game but don’t act like the whole fricking season is over after 6 games. There’s still 50 more regular season games to be played.

Exactly, the last 2 games have not been fun to do BPB for. But if we win 20 SEC games, no one will remember losing game 1 to EKU. We want to be playing our best in May and June.

Fewer trolls coming in to shitpost, but there were people here who legit were trying to follow the game that had no idea what the score was that were angry and asking for updates so they could know what was going on. All in all a wash.
At least dealing with the shitposters doesn't piss off people who are just trying to find out what's going on, I guess.
