It's one of the worst spurns we've ever had in terms of objective evidence. Can't say I'm sorry to see his star fade.

Yeah but much of that is due to injury

Not something I'd be celebrating

Even prior to the injuries I was never terribly impressed by him. He was a good player, but never lived up to the expectations

Imagine laughing at a kid only because he didn't go to the school you wanted him to go. Sad

frick flippers.
By contrast I wish Chris Allen all the best in his NFL career after he's done at Bama. See?

Right on. Look at the difference between somebody like Moses or Collins and Cedric Van Pran. Cedric called his shot early and everyone wished him well. Moses and Collins hung us out to dry.

jrevonte, if you're out there I may be able to offer you some legal services during the upcoming undrafted free agency. For a price, of course. It's business, afterall.

Wow. Chris Allen stayed at Alabama another year after leading the SEC in tackles for a loss. They have to be paying the hell out of these guys to stay another year.

Exactly. I saw Chris Allen in Roux 61 with a Bama LB coach during his recruitment. I cracked a joke as we walked by them leaving, "You'd look much better in Purple and Gold." They laughed and I wished him luck.

That's why he's my prime example of how to not choose your home town school the "right" way.

I went the grayson/IMG game (Espn) when IMG came to Ga. Jaymyest Williams and Grant Delpit were the 2 best players on the field that night. I needed a program to find Dylan. He didn’t stand out. Was still “undecided” at that time, but I left wondering what all the fuss was about.

Dylan was only good when he was bugger and stronger than his competition. Kid was truly average against real college talent.

I’m not one to pile it on the kid. Not many know the TRUE story anyway so it’s mostly speculation.

At the end of the day though, it’s gotta be tough to hear since 7th and 8th grade how incredible you are, get the royal treatment from top programs across the country and then come the NFL draft you fall. Hopefully the young man can get back on track. My opinion is he may be a little “burnt out” from football. In the end though he will still get his shot to prove himself in the pros which is not something a ton of people can say.
