First LSU game i went to was in 2023. My kids ran up to the rail near bullpen before the game and got autographs. The only one they could get was sam Dutton lol. I was hoping he would amount to somnn one day!

Me? Lol. Yeah I’ve watched a few. Auburns antics were very “football-ish”

Maybe LSU just isn’t that great at hitting
They are in a bit of a funk or maybe they aren’t as good as their numbers would suggest.
I think it is too early to hit the panic button. They did just have a 15 hit 10 run performance against a good pitching staff at Oklahoma.
You're going to have bad offensive games in the sec. Too many good pitchers.

Whole Auburn team acted like punks....time to get busy.

He performed above his level, throwing with adrenaline, in a revenge game, in the rain, while getting favorable calls at home. We also played crappy defense..in the rain while. I wouldn't put him the hall of fame yet

he’s the same shitty pitcher but now he can throw balls 6 inches out the strike zone and get strikes called when he plays at home.

I hear what you are saying, but he was being a bit much with his excessive griping at the ump. Weird thing is it didn't even bother the ump.

Its like some of you have never watched an sec road night game.
the fired up stuff was fine, but the crying over clear balls was weird. especially how often he did it. he probably should have been warned at some point, but instead the ump rewarded him with calls and a pat.

Dutton was usually pretty good about hitting his spots, just not so much about missing barrels. Seems like he figured out how to do the latter. Probably their pitching coach tweaked something when he got there.
But yeah the ump last night might have set a new low for the SEC, and that's REALLY saying something.

I just meant from the standpoint that every once inawhile youll just get humbled on the road in this conference. Lick our wounds and back to it

one of the biggest things league officials look for when evaluating umpires is their ability to remain calm under pressure and block out the noise
I would also think it would be a big no no for the ump to visit the mound after Dutton showed him up and then pat him on the back....just not a good look for mr. ump.
