UNC’s power hitters are RH. Dutton has started big games in SEC play. Ack started yesterday. There was nothing wrong with the decision to start Dutton, given what is available.

I remember good outings last year before Omaha, but I watched every game.

Once again coaching puts us in a shitty position

frickheads like you just lay in wait for something negative so you can shite on your identified scapegoat, usually the coach no matter how successful they have been.. Pathetic pieces of shite.

Then you haven’t watched an LSU game in about 3 years.

Coleman, then Moffett. Dutton should’ve been way down the relief list. I’m a Dutton guy too. He’s not been trending right the last couple weeks.

He wasn’t getting more than 1 inning anyway. He’s thrown shutout innings this season.

I wouldn’t have started him but he would have had to pitch at some point. I would have rather it have been to the bottom of their order.

Johnson chose to get it out of the way early

I don’t understand how you can form a right or wrong opinion on either Coleman or Dutton. Both have started in the past and both have had their struggles.

Tell me how you pitch this game without Dutton going an inning.

He has to pitch but you don't do it against the top of their lineup. Ideally they should've used him last night and saved Ulloa/Anderson. We had a big enough lead and you can count on him to throw strikes. Idt UNC would've been able to come back last night without walks
