Should be the weekend starters .
Dutton : ERA 0.69 , 13 inn , 7 h ,7bb, 12k
Collins : ERA 1.76 , 15.1 inn ,12 h, 10bb, 18k
Taylor: ERA 2.20 , 16.1 inn , 11h , 6bb , 16 k
(Stats as of Mar 31)
In no particular order . These guys are young and complete with confidence . Take our licks this year and be have a veteran group of starting pitchers next year .

They're all currently part of tandem or piggyback starts already.

Well, one of them kind of is the starter. And you have to realize that their stats are better than Hilliard’s or Money’s because they are not being asked to what those guys are. If Hilliard and Money were lifted anytime after three or four innings that they got into a high leverage situation their ERAs would be way lower, too.

We have 27 innings to get through on a weekend. Those three guys, Money and Hilliard give you about four each - that’s 20. You can count on maybe 5 innings from Reyzelman and Fontenot and Vietmeier will get you the rest. It really doesn’t matter which one starts, but from what I’ve seen I think CJJ is doing it right.

One starts on Sunday and the others are first out the pen. Hilliard has been great in his last two starts unless it was 2 out of his last3 , I forgot.

Sunday was Dutton then Taylor and that’s it
Hilliard eats up innings
Idk where this disrespect for money is coming from all of the sudden. I mean it’s like he was hated on as soon as his era dipped below perfect

frick those stats. They mean nothing. Those guys were coming in the game and getting pulled before they could frick up and give up some runs, for the most part.

Then if you look at money’s stats, he should have gotten credit for a shutout for however long he was in there. It’s not his fault our scorekeeper fricked him over, instead of tucking Morgan over, when he didn’t give Morgan an error

Money : 4.70 ERA , 38.1 inn, 33h, 13bb, 41k
Hillard : 5.32 ERA , 23.2 inn, 24 h , 3bb, 21k

When was the last time either of these two made it deep into a game?

The reason you're bringing up the other guys as starter options is because Money and Hilliard are not being asked to go deep into games.

You want Dutton, Collins, and Taylor to be starters without realizing that we are prepping essentially 5 starters each weekend, not 3.

If you don't have 1 guy that can go 7, get as many to go 4 as you can. This is the approach we're taking. It's also the approach Vandy has been taking. It's the approach the team that just beat us last night is taking. And I don't think anyone question the pitching coaching bona fides of those two staffs.

First off, nobody’s gonna be on your side here, I don’t think.
Two, the bullpen is our strength, we will pull our pitchers pretty quick , but should have done it quicker last night.
A lot of times jj isn’t looking for a guy that’s gonna get you 7 or 8 innings. He’s trying to use our strengths

Last weekend versus Florida:
Money : 5inn 6 runs
Hillard : 5.2 inn 4 runs
Not exactly setting the world on fire. I’m not bashing on these two players. In fact, I like them both . But at the end of the day it’s about results.

I'm done here, you aren't actually considering the points anyone else is making, just reciting numbers. Not even making points, just reciting numbers. Have fun screaming your shitty opinions into the void.

It's always been a question of who was going to pitch when. We have the arms. I think Jay underestimated how important the timing is on pitching changes (making them and not making them) in the SEC. It's still a work in progress. He was nearly perfect last weekend. I could see why he left Money in last night - it didn't work, but it wasn't wrong.

Oh I forgot numbers don’t matter.
Our two present starters are not going deep into the game and have giving up approximately one run per inn .
The Florida series skewed our opinion on pitching because we scored so many runs.
The three guys I have mentioned, have been much more consistent here lately. That’s all I’m saying.

The 3 guys you mentioned also haven't gone deep in games. LSU has no pitchers to go deep into games. Those 3 guys are freshman. You can't expect them to go deep into games. Them matching up with the starters to get to the 8th is a good strategy. Just have to make plays and make the moves to the pitchers at the right time.

I agree .
If we are going to stick with Money and Hilliard. JJ Has to have a quicker hook.
Because both are susceptible to giving up big Home runs.

2 weeks ago we were complaining that he had to quick of a hook and was using too many pitchers. I really think that him and Kelly will get it figured out. I hate that they are still trying to figure it out at this point of the season though.

You keep saying the same shot over and over. Our pitching is built around the bullpen which is different than most teams. Our starters are starters in name only . They start because they are the most capable of eating innings after that we go to the big guns

Serious question, how many games have you watched this year? Don’t lie either.
Money was on fricking fire early in the year and then got hurt and heaven forbid he has game

I know 5 IP isn't that deep but the defense screwed Money. A few players owe him a beer or something.
