the term itself is relatively new.[11] Coined by George Weinberg, a psychologist, in the 1960s,[12] the term homophobia is a blend of (1) the word homosexual, itself a mix of neo-classical morphemes, and (2) phobia from the Greek f?ß??, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear".[13][14][15] Weinberg is credited as the first person to have used the term in speech.[11] The word homophobia first appeared in print in an article written for the May 23, 1969, edition of the American pornographic magazine Screw, in which the word was used to refer to heterosexual men's fear that others might think they are gay.[

This sounds like something my grandmother would say. Their "duck guns"?

Everyone of you dickh***s who posts this or reads this and thinks it's true is a f**king idiot.
If LSU won just one game per year and it was a victory over Alabama, I would be happy. I dare say that more of us, up here in non-Louisiana north Louisiana, would agree with that premise than more of you, self-important jerks who think one is not from Louisiana unless he lives south of Alexandria.

Balls, I agree with you re: Monroe vis-a-vis Tigers.
Other than one a-hole Bama fan that fishes at Poverty Point Lake, I don't know any Bama fans..... er wait.... I forgot my 10 year old grand daughter.... OH, the agoneeeeee!

Why won't they go away? And who gives a frick about Sadie robertson and who she pulls for?

Like them or not, they have probably had a more positive impact on the image of folks from Louisiana than anyone else in recent years. Keep in mind that the last biggest impression of Louisiana citizens that the nation had was all the negative images that were shown after Katrina.
Sure, the show is guided reality and leans heavily towards completely scripted nonsense. Probably the most realistic thing about the show is the personalities of the family members and their faith in God. If you don't like it, then don't watch the show and the ratings game will eventually take its toll on the show. However, they are not hurting anyone, not speaking poorly about the state, and genuinely are good people.
They really do not deserve the criticism they receive on this board, but most of the stuff posted on this board is even further removed from reality than the scripts written for the show.

There are 2 commitments to Alabama from the state of Louisiana this year and they are both from South Louisiana. Just saying....
