Never understood why this prime real estate hasn't been completely gentrified.

I have nothing against weed but it brings in a bad element. The same thing is killing the French Quarter in Nola. You need to make these places weed free zones. The air stinks and people are getting shot. This is more than just a "marijuana is harmless" issue. Weed smokers can not smoke for a few hours, or just not come at all.

Shots fired at the corner of highland and dalrymple right before half-time.

Seemingly in conjunction with a planned event on campus that had nothing to do with the football game.

I would too if I was out there all day making 35k per year.

For $35k then obviously they can't get any other job. They should do it or get fired.

No one wants to implement the real answer.

Within a certain perimeter, no game ticket no entry to campus.

There was a group of South Carolina fans in front of us smoking half the game. Holy shite people are trashier by the year.

In the south endzone there were way more younger 20 somethings than normal. They chanted STTDB after every song and wouldn’t stop yelling “What the frick is a cock?” All game. People are insanely trashier now than even 10-15 years ago. I’m only 37

That trailer trash actually has the means to buy the tickets and fund the event that the jobless hood rats show up and frick up for everyone else

i run around the lake pretty often. Unlike my time here as a student in the 90's, i can no longer run around the lake with the scent of weed coming out of cars driving by.

its not scientific obviously, but a very clear shift in culture.

money will speak. Folks simply aren’t going to send their kid and tuition to that ghetto much longer.

Neighboring states make it much more appealing by the year

it’s sad. Hell. Our high school kids started chanting about sttdb the other day at the game. Got about 2 rounds out before parents and administrators figured it out. Band playing neck and all.

The piped in music sucks everywhere in sports. I don't know what CEO decided that every spare second needs to be filled with loud music but whoever he his, he deserves to be horsewhipped and fired.

Let the band play and let people enjoy the game.
